And i guess not only rimuru has a thing for the tsundere side of hinata, but out of all the people he could possibly get in a relationship, she is one of the safest options for him. Shuna and Shion are his subordiantes, milim is his best friend and niece (since he became a true dragon, he became her uncle by blood) and despite chloe showing thre greatest signs of love for our slime, she still remained a kid in the LN unlike the WN that after recovering her memories and getting some abilities, she remained a adult for the rest of the WN. Ciel is his partner and a potential wife as well, but it gets a bit complicated since she is connected to his soul and a voice of his mind. As for Hinata, she is a matured adult woman. The only thing that bugs me is how she views their relationship: in chloe relationships part of the wiki, it says Hinata fell for rimuru after her soul spent so much time with chloe and after hearing her stories. As for Hinata wiki, it says she views Rimuru as a father figure who she constantly tried to pursue (she saw the shadow of her father when he was a good one in rimuru) and blushed when praised

If you hadn't mentioned it, I wouldn't have noticed the differences on the Slime Wiki. I think it's possible for both reasons why Hinata likes Rimuru to coexist, possibly because of different timelines in which Hinata develops feelings for Rimuru. I also think another reason could be that Hinata is human and Japanese, lol, even though Rimuru is no longer human, haha.
