Her mentioning of Taiwan throughout the competition does more promoting than any other news outlets, the program's global reach is astonishing, best of all, she won with massive talents, humor and great personality.
I am not from Taiwan but it made me cry to watch this, to see how significant her win really is. So happy for her and the people of Taiwan and Asia, so well deserved.

I love that she moved to the US in 2022 and won Drag Race by 2024. She should win some kind of Immigrant Achievement Award. Edit: I understand she had American citizenship from birth, hence not an immigrant in that sense.
She was born in Los Angeles.
@@tomross4599 Yes, but I believe she spent pretty much her entire childhood in Taiwan. In another interview she said she didn't really live in the US until 2022. She did go to college in the UK as well.

Though i'm not taiwanese, nor asian, I can just feel the absolute joy of all these people being represented by such a stunning and talented queen. Nymphia brought her culture to the stage and we all lived for it!

This was a big moment for Nymphia, but this was also a big moment for Taiwan
The thing is, this is more than just important from east Asian folks, even people in south American can rejoice with an accomplishment like that.
I´m from Colombia and trust me, she was everyone´s option to become our reigning Queen, love for U guys.
I am not of Asian descent, however it is very apparent just how proud of Nymphia the Taiwanese people are and rightly so. She is unbelievably talented and she has a wonderful personality to boot. Congratulations Nymphia Wind! I wish you all the happiness and success in the world!!!❤
