AEW once again pulled another twist in the storytelling without hesitation. The match between *The Dark Order* and *The ELITE* was great. The feud has become even more personal.

Thing is, I actually trust AEW to continue this feud correctly. Because even though the Dark Order lost, we still know there’s only one way this can end - Hangman defeating Omega to become champion.

A story being predictable isnt bad. It typically means that all of the story beats were laid out appropriately and you're smart enough to pick up on them. If a story is built up just for them to ignore it at the last second, theres no catharsis

Sincerely I don’t remember people wanting a wrestler to become champion as much as Adam Page, in the last years.Look at the comment sections, it seems a matter of life, aew let Hangmam/DO lose the match probably to keep the rivalry longer, but people are so angry things went unexpected.
Only one I can remember is maybe Daniel Bryan back for those 2 amazing matches at WrestleMania but we can all guess that was accidental booking

The fact Page and Dark Order lost this match is interesting. It leaves me thinking “Oh shit how’s this gonna play out now?” Also side thing I love how Silver and Page were the last two guys cause man they showed what kind of potential Silver has. He could be a single’s main eventer for sure.
Silver also got a huge pop from the crowd, as well as others from The Dark Order. While I was disappointed at the end result, it was great to see this match in person.

For worst case then Kenny will be booking as Okada (720 days title holder) and Page can be compare as biggest of midcard (Kind like Naito, Nakamura, Shibata)
Page can be AEW champion some day, it just matters of time, and because AEW trying to protect both of Elite and Page's momentum, it was quiet shocked to booked Page lost but i know AEW has plan already.

Moreover this is going to be one of the biggest match in pro wrestling history. And the way they let Hangman lose over and over to continue the storyline makes it more reasonable for Hangman to kick out of it and win the title in their final meeting. Imagine the pop when Hangman kick out of it.

They say there's more money in the chase than there is in the capture.
They say that Hangman is so over right now with fans in arenas and at home that he doesn't need the title right now.
A lot can be said and speculated. It was a shock to me too when he lost, but I know they're going somewhere with this and it's going to mean just as much later on. I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the ride especially when it's easy to get frustrated over outcomes.
So I say, don't worry. Everyone gets their date with the hangman eventually. 😉

Now, please explain how would you make Omega's downfall/him being temporarily "killed/removed out of the title picture". As for me, just have a stronger Hangman brutalize Kenny (the same way Pac did). Make it a ref stoppage/submission where Kenny taps/is thrown the towel.
And a few months later, Hangman is not only #1 contender, but cheered like crazy. Yup. Trusting the process

I think Hangman and Kenny will face each other on Full Gear and then Page will take the title off of him. This makes sense since their last match was on Full Gear, in which Kenny won, went on to face Moxley and cheat to win the title. It makes sense that a year later Hangman has grown as a character, found friends and confidence in himself. Kenny has been hiding behind his alliances, relying on the Elite for assistance, because he knows Page is good enough to beat him. Have faith, the story is a long way from over.
Also Page is expecting a baby soon. That might have played a part in the booking.
If hangman don't win the aew world championship and they gave the opportunity to cm punk i don't think that i am gonna watch aew again

I'm sad too Hangman lost, but he'll recover, he certainly won’t be abandoned by The Dark Order like what the Elite did. As for Kenny's next AEW Defense, I'm betting on either Christian Cage or Switchblade. All Out is about a month away so anything can happen in that time frame.
This was for the best. Kenny packed more heat and relatively dominant, claiming his status as the champ. And hangman has the overcoming adversity challenge and I'm not sure about the angle they will have with the dark order now
So guys many of you in the comments section believe that this was the end of omega and page rivalry.
This was done to give light to a angle where the dark order and hangman assured each other not to be afraid of losses.

Therein lies the tragedy, would've been awesome for DO to win, but prolonging the feud isn't all bad. Hangman and DO will now feel like they let the other down, which'll lead into more storytelling from them to get back on the horse. Love this ending. It surprised me, sets up a new rivalry (Bryan? Punk?) and when Hangman does finally win the World title it will be that much better. It reminds me slightly of Omega/Okada series in Japan. Fans thought Omega deserved to go over Okada and he lost, people were upset. A year later, he got his rematch, wins the title and it was so much sweeter.
I definitely see the parallels here. But I'm fearful for Page. So much momentum to be put in a halt like that screams hot shot booking, which often has disastrous results; and so soon after live crowds started being commonplace.
Now with reports surfacing that Page won't have any match at All Out whatsoever, it does look more and more worrisome.

How to book it:
Since Hangman remained alone vs 3, the Dark Order think it’s their fault cause they were not strong enough to support him till the end.
At this point they decide to redeem theirselves asking for a match with the stipulation that if they lose, the dark order has to break up, but if they win Page gains the title shot.
Page disagree but the dark order is ready to do all the necessary to help their friend.
The match could be a 4 vs 4 or even better a gauntlet, evil uno and john silver vs good brothers first and the young bucks then.
After an emotional match where the DO goes after lots of moves and they seem to be destroyed, with Page at the ring side asking them to give up, they find the strenght to win the match.
Hangman at the end promise their friends, their efforts will be rewarded and he wins the title.

The rumor I’ve seen is that they’re holding off on the Hangman vs. Omega match because they’re gonna have Omega vs. CM Punk or Daniel Bryan. I don’t want to see that and hate the idea. Was hoping to see Hangman and Omega main event All Out.

I like that I may not know where things are going, but the end goal is clear and I can trust the company to give me a good story.

AEW has options
1. Omega vs Hangman at All Out. Since the very first all out Hangman lost to Jericho for the AEW title, making it to where Hangman would have a chip on his shoulder to get over that hump, and the elite would use that to irritate Hangman. Thus he would beat Omega at All out to get rid of that demon.
2. Save Hangman vs Omega at Full Gear. Last year they met in the tournament final to see who would face Mox for the title and Omega beat Hangman to earn the right, showing that Hangman was one match away from getting his title shot.
Either way AEW has options we WILL get Hangman VS Omega for the AEW title the question is Where? and When?
I hope he's still getting a title shot somehow. This has been awesome and I hope it pays off. Regardless of who's coming in this has been the best thing in wrestling and I hope this isn't the end of it.

If this leads to Hangman's character turning into a dark rider and in turn officially leads The Dark Order, I'd be happy with him losing here.
