YAYYY the series has begun! As always i know it seems early to be doing them.. but there are so many calendars to get through and this way i can try to spread them out among some other videos too (hopefully)!
Plus beauty advent calendars sell out soo fast - I guarantee a lot of them will be gone next month! It’s honestly a race to get the videos up before the calendars are sold out 😂

I don't get why companies can't do shade range versions of these. Extra Light, Light, Medium, Dark, Extra Dark. That way they could tailor them to skin tones. I couldn't use half of those products because I am so pale and people who are a darker skin tone would have the same issue. That primer... No. They could have put in white or a pale primer as it would be more universal. To get colour to pop using a white/pale primer works wonders and works for everyone. The palletes are beautiful and something for everyone I don't understand why they can't tailor the rest of the calender.
I agree that highlighter they included at the start could only be used by more tanned people or people of colour I think it would be better for everyone if it was gold/silver or a lighter tone as anyone could use it
I think that for each thing companies should just give a voucher so that you can get whichever one you want
I have an idea: at the end of the series you could do an entire look with every single item that you get on your lucky number. Should be interesting :D

I honesty loved the calendar! You basically get a full face + brushes!! The placement was a little strange, but i don't think it's a big problem

It always amazes me how much paper gets wasted with some of these Advent calendars. Huge boks tiny item. No hate though my random opinion. So excited for the advent calendar series to be back though😋😘

Also, the other day I watched a lady on TikTok doing unboxing of the bodyshop advent calendar (blue, limited edition) and they had several full size products in each of the boxes for £320 and that one was actually worth the money I would say

I love the idea of them. I just only wear the same makeup when I wear makeup. So I feel like it'd it'd a waste for me to buy one. But I LOVE watching these videos because they're just fun.
I like how they made the packaging match with the products this time , still feel it’s very expensive for Revolution but it’s nice looking …definitely better products too xx

The actual content of the calendar seems good, but the order of items is weird. I would have made sure to end on a pallet and then spread out the other pallets more.
I’ve just realised how smooth your skin looks, can you please do a skin routine one day please? My skin is either oily or dry depending on the weather 😩😩❤️

I feel like beauty calendars are aimed more at makeup beginners as the products inside are cheap and rubbish compared to what you could get if you went in store and picked out products yourself, just my opinion x
That could be true, but you are also paying for the novelty of them. And they're trying to cater to what a general buyer would like
I'm from the USA and hadn't heard of Revolution until about 3 years ago, but didn't buy anything until Christmas 2019. It was an Advent calendar thing that I bought for my daughter, was set up like a vending machine and was from their I ❤Revolution line. She loved it and talks about it every Christmas, wish they would do something like that again. The 12 Days Of Chocolate Advent Calendar this year is cute but can't top the vending machine set up. At least now we can get Revolution products in Target but not the advent calendars.

The fab thing about these big calendars is if you and a mate or two have different tastes re colours etc you can split it, my n my daughter have done that a few times

I love their reloaded palettes. That green/blue random one is up my alley. I got awhile back one of their huge colorful matte palettes just useful for any bright color or rainbow looks. Love your videos and these advent calendar videos. Glad to see you back and happy on screen. I hope you are doing alright Sophie. When I use setting spray I spray it on, then take the bottom of my sponge and pat it in. I love the way it makes my makeup melt together, without the splotches

Such a random thought but that box might fit a wreath😂😂 my mom and I have made a few wreaths for all our favorite season and we only have one round container for them. It was the first thing that came to mind when you said “now what am I going to do with this box?” Loved this calendar!! So glad they had almost a full face:)

I honestly feel like you would look really good with purple eyeshadow. Try matching it with some coral/more orange-tinted lipstick. I really think the purple would suit you.

If you're setting spray too wet
Spray spray on deodorant with closed eyes it will dry the setting spray and help keep your makeup on

For me this series has went from "ooh will she be able to do it?" To "C'MON SPONGES AND PENCIL SHARPENERS!!!"
I think translucent powders, eyeliners, primers and pimple patches would be nice in these advent calendars
Also, cream products like blushes that u can build up to work for every skin tone.
