      @@networkforyou11 There’s probably not room for this. I was trying to recreate this setup using a standard router and couldn’t get it to work (using sub-interfaces / IP addresses). The request messages never make it past the router. Is it even possible?

    I can't seem to get this working, however there are a few questions I have..
    How can we route traffic without a router? I didnt think switches were intelligent enough to do this.
    We set devices default gateway as 192.168.1.1 but no device has this and it isnt set anywhere in the tutorial?
    I may be naïve and just not understand so looking for some explaination :)

      Hi,
      It is working for us. What problem you are facing? Did you try this ? Here we are using L3 switch and we enable routing in L3 switch and we done intervlan routing. You can see. Or Join our telegram channel we already share this topology and config file so you can check and try. Link for Telegram channel is in our video description.
      Thanks

    I have a table of mac, can i bind ip for each mac address? Can you help?
    p/s: i found the solution, using client-indentifier to set a static IP for each known mac address.

    • @networkforyou11
      @networkforyou11  Před rokem

      Hi,
      You mean in place of L3 switch if you use router then also you can do you need to use IP helper command and also you need to do intervlan routing by using router on stick method.
      Thanks
