i am trying to burn some videos to a dvd-r - they all burn to the dvd-r disk but, when done, the disk only plays on my laptop and not my dvd player...what am i doing wrong please ???
Its been decades since i burned a dvd. Didnt even know it was still possible, until i bought an external dvd rw drive, for $24! Back in the day they cost $500 or so.
how do i use this to make cd 's that will play in my house stereo, i tried this already but i must have messed up somewhere, it burnt ok but when i put the burnt cd-r in the stereo it played but had no sound, can u help me, i am not too computer savy, thank u
Hi Emily, so sorry to hear about the issue. When it comes to burning a CD, you'll have an option to burn a data cd or an audio cd. You will want to burn an audio cd in order to be able to play it on a stereo. We made a video tutorial back in 2021 on how to burn an audio cd. Ok so i tried burning the cd like an audio cd and it didnt work and it only started burning when i selected the other option. Can i still use it on car?

I’m don’t think it should? Cause if it’s been burned as a data file then it will have binary written onto it which will mean nothing to a cd player
