A kind reminder to all that Quran is not meant to be listened to passively while "working/studying". These are God's words, not a just a pleasant soundtrack - one is meant to pay heed, and listen with intent, as the verse 7:204 teaches us.
It is ok if you play quran and dont pay attention, this ayah was meant for salah. والله اعلم
I listen to Quran only for a good sleep or to relax i don't really see a need to understand it just enjoy it

@Prachi Yeah, those same tunes keep bouncing in my brain when I try to focus or do prayer. The secret is just let go. It's been a few months since I stopped listening to Music itself, musical instruments for studying. I feel much more relaxed!

The Qur'an calls Christians and Jews "the worst of creatures" (98:6) and commands you to violently subjugate us (9:29). Christians are being mercilessly persecuted in Muslim lands by your brothers and sisters. And you ask why we bother to respond? It's all out of hatred, right?
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:
The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews.
But you don't see anything hateful in what the Qur'an says about non-Muslims (for instance, when Allah says that he has no love for non-Muslims in 3:32)? And you have no objections to 4:34, 4:24, 5:51, etc.?

That doesn’t mean it’s completely wrong to be heard in the background of doing something. Just because you’re not concentrating on something doesn’t mean your brain doesn’t hear or comprehend it. Allahs words are beautiful and we are appreciating it by listening to it by our own will. I think that’s great. It’s WAY better than listening to music. Pls don’t discourage others.

Qur'an is created for us to understand it's meaning and live our life according to it. so the thing is that your title says Qur'an for sleep/study, so it means that people listen Qur'an while they are sleeping or studying. you are letting people Listen Qur'an like it is nasheed or music. because when you are studying something, you focus on your study. how someone can understand the meaning of Qur'an while they are doing another mental thing. so i just want to remind you as a brother that please change the title. and do not let people just listen Qur'an just for (fun). may Allah forgive me if i have written something wrong.

For people commenting that it's wrong to listen to the Quran while studying or working, Islam isn't that complicated. I am not disagreeing with the point but as someone who listens to songs while studying, listening to the Quran is a much better choice for my ears and my deen. Stop spreading false and misleading information and stop discouraging people from trying to bring a change by saying that it's a sin to study while listening to the Quran. Allah knows best.
