Spirit BF is here to help DD but first...
He want an revenge match for sure
to reprisal DD.
For me, this would be a scenario similar to Chances, but Dad after seeing Spirit in BF's body, would take his return as a possible revenge, so he uses all his power to the fullest to avoid any tactics Spirit used. However, Spirit BF would come out the winner in the confrontation, only to later make him understand that he was selling to help confront the corruption.

That's also reasonable.
DD probably didn’t trust Spirit at first and thought he wanted revenge, so he fought in self defense, but since spirit Bf is canonically the strongest character, he defeats DD and gets him to realize they’re on the same side
When you start thinking about the infinite possibilities that can occur with a single event, a scenario like this came to mind...

If this would be canon it can be like "Days after the fight with Lemon and Uncorrupt all, GF miss to much BF and ask Dad to get he Back,Dearest denied it at the Start because the blueballed isnt more with his girl and he is more happy after that, but thinking a bit he remember how Senpai be and think if Senpai can to Revenge of he and his family trapping them in The Hating Simulator, so finally decided he calls Spirit Bf to go to talk with he on the stage
Interesting, maybe one day i'll make a music about that.
Ok but two problems:
1. Gf doesn't know bf is dead and spirit is possessing him
2. If gf KNEW bf was dead, she would unalive herself.

Also not to mention DD struggled against BF alone, who we saw Spirt go against, and in one round turn it from absolutely losing to rocking CBF's shit. (Even stopping CBF during *his* turn, Spirt being the only character we see straight up stop BF from singing)
So there seems to be a pretty major power difference
