Sorry, thats Bullshit. In Battlefield 2, the tank broke if you hit a guard rail. And Battlefield 3 had bad vehicle sync. If there was a vehicle next to you, the vehicle was lagging.
That turret whipping around that fast is so immersion-breaking.
The whole tank is hauling ass like an electric car. Look up tank gameplay footage from Battlefield Bad Company 2 for ref. These guys just went downhill.

Dude you are right but i swear vehicles in bf2042 are sooooooo fun! The C-Ram Car it's just amazing. We need to go back to bad company 2 style tho. Or even battlefiedl 2 from 2005 that was the best semi-simulator i have ever played.@@BR-gc5uo

It’s analog controlled… so unless you have it mapped to some digital-only device that isn’t even meant for controlling games that’s your own fault (and if your input device isn’t designed for games and is no different than what accountants use to type numbers into a computer, then that’s your own fault)… therefor it only will move around as fast as you tell it to… so slow it down and you won’t “break your immersion”, problem solved.

8K and 4K are just not worth it, the amount of FPS you lose is such a bad trade off. 1440p at like 144fps is the sweet spot imo.
Its insane when you think of 8k, its like four 4k displays!!! Insane you get playable experience with single gpu. incredible.

You might be correct, but the game needs to be fun to play too. Can't have people returning to base every 25 seconds to refill fuel and ammo. Those are "realistic", but not fun. But I never play tanks (or any vehicles) in BF games anyway, so for me personally it might even be better with boring and realistic vehicle game play. Haha. :)

@@Kortochtjock Well in BF V you have to be near a logistic point to refill ammo and repair. It's not a fun killer, your team mates have to build these, or repair it if it's destroyed.

Watching this on a 4k monitor and I can't get over the fact Horizon Forbidden West on PS5 on it's latest patch looks considerably more detailed. It's insane what optimization and art direction can do.
Yeah bf2042 is not really as impressive as it should be. Even older games beat it in graphical details. At least now is decent

Every time I go back to bf1 i get blown away by how much more immersive it is, it's not even close. And we are talking about a 7 years old game without real time ray tracing.

I'm not hating on the game itself, i'm criticizing the tecnical aspect of it. I was waiting for a sequel of bf4 for ages and I believe the immersion is a central aspect of a battlefield game. In bf2042 it's just not there for me, and i'm sad to see the series i love devolving into something worse@@thefriedpiper
You should have 2x16GB Ram sticks because you can crank the memory up higher and you have less latency. A good 2x16GB kit that you've tuned will probably give you extra 5-8% performance over 4x8GB - at the very least.

i have the 7950x and i game at 1440 p resolution . My cpu usage is at 40 to 50 percent. how the 5950x gets 30 /100 usage ?
Basically because he has a 4090 and playing at high resolution 8K so in this case the stress is all on the GPU at 98% of usage if he plays at 1440p then the CPU will be higher usage
30% CPU 72c .... thank god i didn't get the amd 5950x ... its amazing that fps averages at 52fps while having a top end gaming build with the "best" GPU on the market.
