I love the quote from Niles when they're at the timber mill with Martin, and they're being real snobs. Martin gets fed up with it and walks out, Frasier asks Niles to say something to stop Martin, and Niles runs to him yelling: Dad wait!..The Mudpie is coming!'.
So happy Frasier is coming back. I'm 36 so it was a huge part of my childhood. It's so cozy, and such a GOOD QUALITY funny show. Figurative *hugs* to the Frasier cast. And yes, this kitty scene is endearing.
I've always found it hard to get into this scene as anything but a daydream because of the afghan. Frasier ("I support the arts, not the crafts.") never had the afghan before or after this. However, after getting my first cat, they do inexplicably change you.

Actually cats are extremely smart and easily trained. This cat is only on 1 episode. He's watching him for a neighbor. It's part of the set up about not finding the right woman and now he's turning into aunt Shirley cause he's talking to a cat covered in a shawl. My oldest cat is 23 yrs old and has been trained to do things on command since 6 months. He was trained with treats exactly how I trained my dog.
