The first time I entered Eden, my friend Mikki and I, uh, kinda freaked out midway and left because of how spooky it was. :x Rewatching my old videos of our first (and second) time was embarrassingly hilarious-- and frustrating!! I then thought that I would really like to help other first-timers, so that they won't be feeling as lost and stressed out as we did. [edit: I realised that the "midway call" trick isn't as well-known as I thought it would've been, so credits to Mikki for teaching me that! I miss playing with you bro 😢]

My friend when he ubers me through Eden: *Flies over the rocks in the first area and over all the krills in the second area with ease within a minute in a half* :)

There’s ways to get straight to the statue part without even having to go anywhere near the second part too, but I don’t know it they were patched yet or not

I did eden yesterday with a friend, researched almost everything and it took about 1 and a half hours in total

when i got ubered they put me through a wall
One time when me and my friend were going to Eden which was actually my first time because I was a scaredy cat she literally went through there with ease
My first time going through Eden, a random veteran player guided me through it and all showed me all of the hiding places, as well as waited for me whenever I couldn't make a specific jump.
Near the end, I got hit by the very last krill, but they immediately got me back up and urged me to go through to the hallway (that I didn't notice before), and I made it right as the krill spotted me again.
I remember them celebrating with me, I was obviously a moth, and they just mentioned me to finish Eden without them.
It was such a great experience, and I'm forever grateful as I would have been completely lost if not for them showing me the path
I proud to say when I first went through Eden, I didn’t lose any winged lights…..cause I was paranoid as heck and was super cautious. I didn’t leave any safe space until I had a grasp on the krill’s path, where it’s light/searchlight hits, timing, and I had an idea/knew where to head next to not be in danger. Also made sure to listen closely to the audio cues for the rocks. Thunder cracks and then a second or so later it starts. It was a good warning. Also good for getting an idea for how fast/slow intervals between each wave were so I didn’t try to over shoot and get hit. Was still properly intimidated and scared though :D, hence the over kill amounts of paranoia.
I'd think that by the time you get used to Eden, your cautiousness will turn into confidence, since being cautious also means being observant, and thus it'll help you to familiarise yourself with Eden properly 🤔 Not a bad thing if you are still willing to move forward despite your paranoia methinks 👍 Good job getting through!!

I've got a tip. If you see someone become a lightless child, you can get your candle out and restore them. Then it'd be easier for them to reclaim their spirit/child/wings.

The use of checkpoints is brilliant. I never thought of using them before. There is another shortcut to get to checkpoint 10 but it requires more wings so it is probably only useful for slightly more experienced players. If you go to the pool of black water with the big red crystal, therr are a few patches of dry ground. Stand on a patch of ground closer to the buildings. Check to make sure the krill has passed and fly straight up. You can land on the metal bridges or rocky stairs then hop into the pipe. Fantastic video and editing! If I might recommend a future video topic: Vault shortcuts for candle runs or winged light collection. Vault can be a pain and I'm sure many players would benefit from your thorough explainations. Keep up the amazing work!
Thank you! I thought to make a "shortcut" Eden route with the one you mentioned actually, but while experimenting, I actually found an even better shortcut! :D I can't wait to share it soon. As for Vault-- oof! It really is a pain, especially for impatient people like me 😂 I do have my way of going through it, but I'm not quite sure if they are possibly the short-cuts you mentioned, so I hope that when I do post that video, you'd stop by and let me know if I missed anything 😅
Btw I noticed something... This winged light at 4:25 will not collect if you run through the door before it flies to you. I noticed this once when I checked my wings and it didn't count, then I came back outside, it was still there!
That's very true! While doing this video, I had to enter Eden multiple times, and when I rushed in ahead once and returned, the winged light was still there X'D

for the pesky ledge there is another way to tell if the wind is weak or not in the background there's 2 banners if they flow slowly then take the opportunity to jump if not then wait ^^

I got lucky for my first time in Eden as a veteran sky player was going through Eden at the time and they helped me through Eden and made the experience much easier still didn't help my stress level through Eden tho and after that i just followed the same path they took and i thankfully have never gotten hit in Eden until obviously the give wing light area where it's impossible to not get hit
i went through Eden alone, i started strategizing and and timing things got me through. I realized there was intervals where things not activated for like 10 seconds and stuff and my mind was blown, i felt so proud and like such a hero. my heart was so full and happy ahhhh still is

Lucky for me, I was helped through my first Eden by a professional player who probably noticed that I was new. Bro didn't get hit once by anything
My second Eden was a lot easier, judging by the fact that I used what he taught me to get through
Small tip for the pesky ledge, you can actually jump up onto the higher ledge without crossing the gap at all. Just jump towards the higher ledge and slightly downhill, then mash jump to auto-land onto it. I'm on Switch so it might be a bit more difficult on Mobile, but I'm pretty sure everything's still possible. This also works relatively well regardless of the wind strength, especially if you spend a wingbeat, so if you're bad at timing like I am it should be easier than the actual jump.

How about yesterday's quest to the hot springs...Moths may find this challenging to reach the hot springs with their little light, but it's easy. After entering the Village of Dreams, just continue straight back to the mountains (I chose to enter between the blue canvas building and the white T.P.'ish looking building. Start climbing. The terrain guides you a little to the right, but not much. When you start reaching the top, the wind will start to blow. Take flight straight up for about 2-3 light. You will be high enough to see the hot springs is close to you. Then you can slide down the short ski slope to the cave where there's winged light. Even a moth can do it.

For me, returning from home made me get krilled as it spawned me right into the krill’s light as the white faded out. I usually wait until the last few rocks are passing by so I have time to run, but there’s a risk of getting hit by them if your timing was off. It’s hard to communicate with players about the krill and when it’s going to the right side, then I get frustrated by them going in when the krill is on the left
I do eden flying. Like pro flights ✈ but I enjoyed so much tutorial. From all I have seen I love the most 💙💙💙

Thank you so much for this guide! It was very helpful and I completed Eden on my own for the first time without getting krilled or hit by red rocks even once! The video has surgical precision on checkpoints, hiding spots and ideal time to avoid krills! Next my goal is to use the pt. 2 of this video guide and get all 63 frozen statues to give my winged lights to.
Unfortunately, the pt 2 of this guide is somewhat outdated since the Season of Shattering slightly altered the map, but the statues are more or less in a similar area. I'm still on the works of making a new guide for the 63 Statues, which I'll hopefully be done by the end of this year! I'm very glad the 2.1 is still efficient nonetheless and thank you for your comment! 😊

I once played sky two years ago, entered eden and.... got traumatized lmao :( I was too afraid of krills and losing the wings, I dont even have the courage to enter the wasteland, so I stopped playing. But recently, I downloaded it since they released the steam version. I still am afraid to enter eden or the wasteland but your guide makes me want to fight my fear and just do it!! I hope I will make friends in my new journey too... Thank you so much for you guide and you videos in general!!

Just finished Eden for the first time, I went by myself with 50 wings. I did everything slowly and carefully and got 9 ascended candles (but two wing buffs were 6 candles...). Thank you so much for your guide, it was most helpful💖

I watched this video and it's good for beginners but when you get good it turns into a one way trip to the end
I did eden yesterday and I am quite grateful that this tutorial exist. I got the exact amount of candles that I was aiming for and without this me and my mutual would have been food for krills. Using this I only lost two wings for the first areas and for a first time I think it's great.

i wish i had found this when i first went to eden, i had a freind but they could not hold my hand, and if i had known i was suposed to die.......but anyway, great guide! its gonna be super helpful if i ever do a run to get those candles :>
