My dad had one. Mom hated it. He was in a minor wreck in it. After that mom said “it’s me or the car.” I cried until tears wouldn’t come out anymore when he sold it
@Autofaze this was GM performance brand to shake things up but budget cuts and merging departments i guess to do away with the brand i still love the falling soldiers Everyone had something rare and a gem 💎 to hold on OLDSMOBILE,PONTIAC AND EVEN SATURN
Yep my agrythm got me rite on this one it was like 🤔 said he had a white camero but luves the 00's TA that Ws6 manuals my kinda car almost bought one it was 02 Charcoal Metalic grey Chrome 5stars Rims Be Fun to drive around in Summer for sure..
A clean 4th gen F body will never go out of style; Camaro or TA. They perform so well even by today’s standards. My old 02 was consistently knocking on the door of 10s with just a cam, intake, longtubes and an off the shelf nitrous kit. I think I had maybe ~18k into the whole vehicle. You can spend 50k+ these days and not get that kind of performance without doing almost the same mods.
Amen. My 98 has been a work in progress (driveable the entire time, just take it down whenever I do modifications). These cars are still a performance bargain although prices have climbed the last several years due to the nostalgia factor so 9 times out of 10 a C5 Corvette these days is actually cheaper sadly. The C5 is a great car but the days of cheap decent condition 4th Gen fbodies are starting to come to an end.
@@Autofaze If you keep one fairly original and in good shape it will forever have a decent value. I’ve also noticed the same with cars like Gen 1 CTS-Vs, good condition Chevy SS and Pontiac G8 GXP cars etc. You can buy one and enjoy it for a while then sell it and get your money back as long as you don’t overpay for it in the first place or beat it up while you own it.
@@kennethpowers8995 all amazing cars you mentioned. My 4th Gen fbody is no longer stock but I've kept all parts I've upgraded outside of blown out rear shocks and the factory cat back exhaust that I upgraded the first year. If someone else wants to turn it back to stock I have 98% of the parts, but my goal is to never sell it and it's been my blank canvas. Once I welded in subframe connectors it's now part of the car and I was never looking for collectability. Some people do. I drive cars and modify them and enjoy the work I put into them. Took my wife out in mine again today, said she started getting motion sickness and I was driving it like a cop was behind me. No hard launches, no aggressive driving. I feathered the gas. But she's used to sitting higher off the ground in a Subaru Outback with a CVT. Told her imagine if I put it through the paces 🤣
If only Pontiac would have thought to build the firebird on the hood. I don't mean painted. I mean part of the body work as an inlay. Some of it extruding as well looking for a headwind.

Musiał ją cholernie kochać. Prędzej babę pogonię w cholerę, niż moje Camaro.
No real man should listen to his woman. If she says something like that she never really cares about him.
The car would have definitely been the choice, if it was me. She can pack her bags and leave. Adios. 😂

So what did Dad buy afterwards?
New commercial for Pontiac 😂bring it back

There was a car drag racing at i29 for a no prep event that did that, it was incredible!
I own one, with an LT1 engine. The earlier 1990s models.
Can't go wrong with LT1 or LS1 4th Gen.
