Honestly, her colour suits her facial features. It makes her features more defined and since her facial colour is uniform and matches with her neck colour it looks beautiful on her. If her colour would have been more lighter then I don't think that her facial features would have looked more defined.

I am super fair naturally, but where I live (germany/western) the opposite is the beauty ideal. Being dusky, brown or the skin just having a darker tone is seen as a healthy look or as pretty and they try achieving it even by fake tan or just tanning in the sun. It really has nothing to say about beauty itself. It remains in the eye of the beholder. Though beauty doesn't end at color in no way it does. It comes in all shapes and colors. The society is the one who has to learn to appreciate it in all forms.
