Well, this easily the saddest ABBA song I've ever heard. I can literally picture Agnetha (sp) singing this to Bjorn. I always thought he was her one true love, even after their break up. A beautiful song, but, I almost wish I hadn't listened to it.
We lost 40 years of what could have been great ABBA music ☹️. And this album proves it. That said we have them together now 😁. Let’s keep them together for ever, OXOX for the girls and love for all of them ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I'm so sorry, Susan, for your loss. He looks like a good man, from your thumbnail photo. I have outlived two amazing, wonderful, much beloved husband's. I was so blessed to have been loved by each of them. It is very hard to love someone with all your heart, for when they go, they take your heart with them and it takes time, sometimes a lot of time, to get it back. Even then, I would not have changed a thing. Each of them, the one who passed in 2009 after eight wonderful years together, and the one who passed nine and a half weeks ago, after only five years together, gave me all the love they had to offer and they made me a better woman for having loved them, beautiful men that they were. They are waiting for me in Heaven, I know, one yo be my forever friend and protector and one who will be what he is now, my forever love, my dear husband and soul mate. Do not sorrow foe what you lost, dear lady, rather glory in what you had, a love beyond compare! Go forth and use what you learned to make the world a better place! That is a fitting legacy for a good man! Be blessed in all you do! May GOD keep you close to His heart always.
It is said when you love someone from the depths of your soul you do anything for their happiness.Including letting them go if you are going to be a problem for them.If they are supposed to be together they will be whatever. No power in this world can stop it.❤
I've noticed on a few new songs of Abba, they don't resolve at the end. They're musically open-ended. That's appropriate because our song never ends. This one cut deep. The wounds of widowhood never heal. They shouldn't. We're still one, tho he is in heaven. That separation will resolve in reunion one day. Our song will be a praise to our Lord.
Esas voces maravillosas son inconfundible estas chicas fueron y son excepcionales.no habrán creo un dúo tan acordé y simétrico como ellas son ángeles cantando. Época fantástica para los los que lo vivieron en presente
This is such a beautiful beautiful song sung by beautifully and sensitivity by the ABBA girls. Wow!I am sure if they had released it back at their peak it would’ve been a number 1 for definite and would so easily out class other other people or persons “music “.?
Abba album tracks were all so perfection I can honestly say I can think of one that wasn't plus this blew me away in mamma mia 2 movie blubbering wrecks we were
"You Are Still My Life" by ABBA singer Agnetha Faltskog from Sweden is a mesmeric journey through the depths of heartbreak and longing. With her hauntingly beautiful vocals, Faltskog brings to life the pain of a once-infinite love that has now faltered. The sorrow-laden lyrics, resonating with melancholic melodies, transport listeners to a world of lost hopes and shattered dreams. Each note is like a dagger piercing the soul, evoking a myriad of emotions that one cannot help but immerse themselves in. This song stands as a testament to Faltskog's ability to captivate and mesmerize, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who listen. As the song unfolds, Agnetha Faltskog's heartrending performance reaches its pinnacle, gripping the listener’s heart with an irresolute ache. The song's heartthrobbing intensity strikes a chord deep within, engulfing the senses with its inescapable allure. The raw vulnerability in Faltskog's voice carries the weight of a thousand unspoken words, unleashing a cascade of emotions that few artists can ever hope to replicate. "You Are Still My Life" is a testament to the power of music to transcend time and space, resonating with the deepest recesses of the soul. This haunting lamentation will forever echo in the hearts of those who have loved and lost, leaving an indelible imprint on the tapestry of their lives. Amanullah Lodhi still in the year 2024 to listen to her gorgeous voice way back from the year 1976.

Ok so...I'm just 16,but this is my favourite song currently and I imagine myself singing this to my crush and/or future husband. I'll definetely sing this to this person they'll die. Anyway, this also reminds me of my grandparents (from dad's side):If my grandma never got sick,I suppose that she would be still alive (she would be 83 right now) and...Feeling depressed or something because my grandpa died in 1999. I wonder if my grandparents or dad listened to Abba back then...
Should be "worn-out" old phrase............not "worm-out". 🙂
Oop Sorry.... 🙂✋

A sacred song. Agnetha can sure belt it out and the bass player does a great job, simple yet moving
