On the part of 9 Years of Shadows you(I can’t figure out which one is who sorry guys!) say that you wanted to do a review but never got to it. Why don’t you make a youtube short review of the game which is on sale but has no full video review? Just a 1 minute one where you explain the how what when and score even if possible. Just a thought!

As old as Fallout 3 and New Vegas are, you’d think they’d port the games over and I’m sure they’d run fine.

The first Ni No Kuni was soooo good. It had this weird moisturizing effect on my cheeks.... I'm not crying, YOU are crying! The sequel is certainly tempting. But Colt Canyon looks sweet too.

I played some time on Colt Canyon on PC and if you like rogue-like games, it's a good one, at least on PC. Addictive.

I had to jump on Ni No Kuni 2 this week, the only thing I didn’t like about its predecessor was the combat, and apparently that has been completely changed for the sequel! Happy days 😊
I was fine with the combat in NNK1 when I was first playing the game, but I didn't finish, played other games, came back to it a couple months later, and had completely forgotten how to do the combat! And I'll have to start it over just to relearn how to play it.
Definitely preferred the combat in 1 with the focus on the Pokémon like creatures. But to each their own, hope you enjoy

Oh, and sorry for not commenting on your videos lately. I've been going through a very rough patch (as in, my partner of 25 years passed away after just 5 weeks in hospital. I'm doing as well as you might expect), so while I kept watching your videos and liking them (and they've helped me cope in some weird way, giving me some semblance of normalcy during these hard times), I just didn't have the energy or mood to comment on them. Now I don't promise I'll go back to my activity level of before (it's just too soon), but for now I wanted to let you at least know how much you've supported me in the last weeks. Sometimes, just a bit of diversion goes a long way to make someone cope with very hard stuff. So thanks again for your great videos!

I can tell you that Sakuna Of Rice and Ruin is great game and at that price is a steal. I actually liked the farming elements lol. The main mechanic I see in this title was progression.
Sakuna has become one of my favorite games of the last decade and I will recommend it to anyone who will listen. Getting ready to have another play through after playing in last at launch!

Core gameplay just nails a 2D hack n slash, and I find the farming a nice way to break pace.
Just noticed that colt canyon is also currently available in the super pixel bundle and you get 2 other games included ( pixel heroes and Outbuddies DX) I don't know if they are any good but for 40p more its probably worth a look

I have a recommendation too: Story of Seasons / Rune Factory. Both series are currently stupidly cheap

If you don't have either Ni no Kuni 1 & 2 you should definitely grab them now, the discount price is dirt cheap for the amount of gameplay you'll get. IMO 1 has better story but 2 has way more content to enjoy (it's not bad either, tho not as good as 1). Also note, NnK 1 has a turn based battle system while 2 is action, and some battles may give you troble because they can contain platforming elements :P Overall, definitely worth picking.
Ninokuni2 in the backlog, loved the first one, neato
Spelunky is equal parts great fun and great frustration when played with kids in co-op. Or anyone for that matter if you don’t communicate well haha. It’s def a tough game but fun as heck with that “just one more run” type feeling. Have a great week everyone!

Sakuna is getting an anime this year, which I hope does well and gets more people into the game. I would love a sequel or something in the same vein. It is a hard game, but there was something therapeutic about tending to the rice and then literally reaping the rewards.

Growing up I would wake up early on Saturdays to play the N64. We didn't have a memory card though, so each Saturday I'd start over and try and get further than the last time. I loved it. Ocarina of Time and Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 were a couple of my go-tos

My daughter ( 13) loves the cattails series i picked it up with my gold coins so it was essentially free and she loves it.
Last week i got jugglers tale and really enjoyed that little story. Im playing it through a second time now and feel like a speed runner 😆 so much easier, didnt use youtube and gave my brain a run out first go so it took me a while being a bit slow but i like the "ahhh now i get it" feeling. 😊

I would get Beautiful Desolation, but I already bought it awhile back. Just have to find time to play it! I think I might go for Cattails instead, since it has your recommendation. Btw, is the eShop very slow for anyone else? Like super super slow. When I scroll to the bottom of the page it takes almost 10 seconds to load the next section, and then a few more seconds until I can move the selector around. It’s been awhile since I went in there so I’m not sure if that’s normal or not.

Finished Beautiful Desolation over a couple of long haul flights home and back (U.K. > NZ and back!). Super chill ambient game perfect for that 😊
Roguelikes comes with a "back side", after a while i just need to cleanse my palette with a game that has a clear cut ending. Just to have that semse of moving forward "yup, im finished" feeling.
I still load up Dreamscaper every now and then. I know it wasn't a perfect rougelike, but it did have a lot to enjoy/like about it. I know they don't support the game anymore, but last I checked those devs are working on a new title. Cheers!

I appreciate you gents do what you have to do to 'keep the lights on' as it were with the channel, but having advertising from stuff like Factor is much better than when you've been taking sponsor money from game publishers.
I initially watched these videos because the Eshop is an actual nightmare to navigate at the best of times when looking for a good bargain, but over time I've come to appreciate your opinions and takes on games as reviewers. However it always feels a bit 'icky' to me when I'm not sure if the opinion is your own or something said to keep a publisher on side.
At the end of the day I'm just a single viewer in the comments section of your videos but I wanted you to know you do good work and the more you can keep a split between your advertising commitments and honest opinions the better this place will continue to grow!
Fair point some people feel the exact opposite but I'd say check out reviews before buying anything from a sponsored segment because it is literally an advert. If I say I like it then I do but otherwise I'll just use generic language Cheers man. Mark

Thinking of getting chronicles because in the US the game I'd want to get isn't on sale.
i loved Sakuna, and the rice did kick my butt, BUT I really enjoyed that. sometimes i wished it didnt have to go out for materials just so i could sit with my rice and my pets.
Big thanks to your daughter, I just got cat tails, which to be honest I never would have considered. I'm obsessed. Had to book a day off work so I can continue play through tomorrow. Lol 😅
Snow Runner is a good one, picked it up during huge sale, but will grab the physical if/when it is complete edition on the game-card. Looking at Expeditions: A mud runner game but it's missing the multiplayer, and it still has bugs, so will wait for it. Waiting for Biomutant, I have it on PS4 and will pick it up on hand-held console Nintendo Switch. Also further in the future, Ace Combat 7 looks interesting, by Bandai Namco. Moto Rider 4 is interesting and on sale, but it's on it's way out because of hot-headedness. If Nintendo releases Sniper 5, by the same company that made it's previous chapter. Moto Rider 5 if it's attempting to stay in competition with Moto GP 24, Master Collection #2 Metal Gear will be a good one to have on game-card, without half of it being on and off. If they fix Batman Knight collection and it runs n-sync. If they bring Fallout 3, Fallout 3 New Vegas, Fallout 4 and anything more would be extra, that would be just like Skyrim in a sense of stabilizing the way it should of been done without short-. NHL 24 would be smooth. Just to mention a few.

@@SwitchUpYt thanks bud, it’s just I backed it at least three years ago if not more - used to get quite a few updates and like I said I got the plushie which was well over a year ago and now I don’t hear anything or know what’s happening. If it was just the base game I backed I wouldn’t be as concerned but I paid around 200-250 euro for the special edition and all I have to show for it is a teddy.
I finished GameDec this weekend and it was a really fun game. Well worth the $.

I'm a few weeks new to switch and already easily this has become my favorite console to travel with,maybe even my fave home console, I love my ps5 and mobile hand held ps5,but if u want to use the ps5 Mobil u must own a ps5,the switch well,it's the switch its all u need,plus I have the starter kit and hori split pad pro,and it's amazing to have all or most my ps5 games to port on switch and take with me and mario cart live,now that's just the coolest thing ever lol rc card meat video games a day it's mobile and wifi free as well,that's just hands down the OG thing ever
Has to be said, 9 years of shadows is quite linear and a tad bit short as a metroidvania, I still loved it to bits, and I think the performance is pretty much optimal until the optional boss that is practically invisible and framerate goes brrrrrrr. I'm not sure how I managed to beat it in a good few attempts, I really tortured myself 😂 all the rest went really smooth!

I played through the original Cattails and now that I know there is a sequel I’m excited to get it! It’s a pretty silly game but also has some level of depth
