      Yeah tell that to people who actually keep them and feed them and if these(me included) didnt look at the ROI there is no way millions in India or anywhere in the world could afford milk.

      It's time we realise we don't need animal breast milk in adulthood. Man is the only specie that drinks another animal's breastmilk which is the first place is meant for the calf. Vegetables, fruits and a balanced meal can provide nutrients for a healthy lifestyle. Don't fall for the marketing tricks of the dairy industry.

      Yeah sounds good on paper but what about people who are dependent on them for their livelihood? Their exploitation began because we choose cheaper Jersey and HF milk and refused to pay a bit higher for Desi Cows.
      Even now most people refuse to pay higher for quality milk but they want quantity even knowing its harmful for them

    • @hp2084
      @hp2084 Před 3 lety

      @@mohitdhanwani6431Most people who chose dairy farming as their sole business have turned to HF cows, Jerseys are hardly seen. Its not that people arent ready to pay higher for milk, the thing is people arent able to pay for milk so they try to buy the cheapest milk then can afford. If not for HF cows, 90% of India would not even be able to afford milk.

      True. Don't bother .Those who think it's OK to kill calves so that they can drink it's milk, are also quiet vile, not forgetting the meat. So I don't know about that person whose talking about worship, yes I worship the cow, bcs of it babies live. Maybe this person should try stuffing food into a new born baby, whose mother can't breast feed. Stop sticking religion into everything. If u don't worship it, then by all means eat n destroy. Next eat your pets, their animals too. So Jess these people always like to justify their actions, so I'm sorry to say, but to hell with them. Peace to u.

    What's the economics of running such a dairy farm though? A dairy farm can't survive by selling dung and dung products alone. Man has reared animals for dairy for ages. The problem is that dairy farming has become highly inhuman in the past 50 years. The lady here is doing a fine job, but will the average farmer be able to sustain such a farm. I'd have appreciated if this video included some statistics on the economics of such a farm and actual workable suggestions on running an ethical dairy business while also keeping it profitable.

They say that they treat animals as their family members. But that is not true. No one treats their family members as product or something that brings them profit. This is the worst. ANIMALS ARE NOT HERE FOR US. THEY ARE HERE WITH US. Every animal has a right to live the life the way they want without any interruption of humans. We don't need milk or any other dairy product to survive in the first place. The only species that drink milk of other species is human being. Excellent work by Beejom. Long term solution for animal abuse is to go vegan [plant-based diet]. Until then, if somebody still wants to consume animal milk products, they have to ensure that the milk is produced with the 'least' amount of animal abuse. For e.g. the calves should be able get its share of milk from its mother, the cattle should be taken good care of, fed organic diet and no slaughter should be involved at any point, etc! The cost of such a milk is likely going to be higher.

    Why does someone need to be economically beneficial for us to acknowledge their right to life? We need to stop viewing other animals as commodities.

      Why don't you sponsor some of these cows so that the organization providing them shelter need not worry about economic sustainability?

      @@limabravo8782 only if you bothered asking me what I do before jumping to conclusions.. All rescuers and shelter owners recommend that less animals should be bred into existance.
      The demand for thier products only encourages breeding, we need to stop demanding animal products and seeing them as property

      @@rajeshwarsinghmaini Please get well soon. She's selling cow dung and cow urine products not because she wants to make these cows as commodities but only because it would allow the shelter to become sustainable, yet you're offended because this operation isn't purely vegan by definition. Guess what?! This farm is contributing more to veganism than you ever will because they just proved that we don't need to steal milk to sustain cows which have been already bred into existence.
