Hi Zane! I need your advice. I'm 14 and I'm a bass singer. I tried following your advice to buzz the note, but I can't buzz that high. I can do subharmonics, chest, mixed(i think), and head. I'm trying to get whistle, but I feel my voice is too low. I know it's not important, but I'm just trying to master it for fun. What do you recommend?

I wish I had these tips when I was younger, but blending was a huge problem for me, especially when I was in the non audition choir where people of all musical levels could join, so blending is such a problem! There were the people who couldn't sing in tune at all, to those who were pure cringe, and those who had amazing singing voices. I was the one who tried to outshine the others, but that obviously failed miserably. I think I found it easier to blend when I got invited to join a higher level choir for my senior year in high school, but outshing was still an issue but not as bad. There was that one dominating voice in each section.
