Been tapping back into Freshly Grounded recently whilst driving. Was here since the beginning.
Allahuma Barik, Faisal. Ignore the noise and carry on bro.
I listened to the previous episode where you broke down the costs of Dubai and thought it was extremely informative, but people seem to think you’re a real estate agent trying to make a sale. 🤦🏽‍♂️
You provided a great amount of insight, and anyone asking for more is generally looking to move (I assume). Which means they should do some research themselves instead of relying on a podcast.
    Smh.

I would definitely pay for a step by step course on how to move to Dubai. I'm sure many others would too. Will also be a great benefit 👍

Whether it's in an ebook, course or just a podcast episode/youtube video, i'd love a breakdown of areas, especially highlighting where is more cheap in the gulf. What areas are more conservative and also going over potential pros and cons for each area from a practising Muslim's perspective. And the places where you can get full meals and drinks for £5!

For many, they would still be able to keep their passports from other countries and I also think there is a retirement visa that people can get if they're not running a business or working anymore. But I may be wrong so do double check

I moved to the uae last year summer and it’s been revelation as to the naïveté of many British and European Muslims who think uae is the promised land 😂. Even islamically it is absolutely not the promised land. Nowhere is to be honest. It is VERY expensive! The tax free stuff is bs. You’re paying it one way or another. Just like the r U.K. you must choose where you live in order to get the Islamic feel🤷🏽‍♀️ otherwise you might as well be in central london (but with the adhan) the locals are obsessed with western culture it’s actually sad.
And as a black person, it’s been even more tricky to navigate. And I’m being nice when I say tricky.
Conclusion, choose your hard. It’s hard everywhere. Yes you’re free (ish) from suffocating lgbt propaganda but the Muslim world will throw up a whole new set of problems for you.Trussst me😅. And for parents, you are the most important part of your child’s life. The environment helps but it won’t help you raise your kid. Don’t just move hoping your problems or challenges as a Muslim will end. Reality will slap you in the face hard.

Bruv, can you get a visa for creating your one man business and then sponsor your wife but then just don’t care about the business and just have it on the side to support your visa or residency or are you to comply and provide revenue reports to prove this is a profitable business for you to be there ???

You are not giving the right information … it’s all waffle . Dubai is extremely expensive , let me break it down , for a family of 4 :
Rent will cost you between 200k aed upwards (40k gbp per year)
Schools kids 4-11 40-50k aed (10k gbp per year ) per child. Kids 11+ 70k aed (14k gbp per year)
Bills around 6k per month ( 1300 gbp per month)
Food shopping around (1600 gbp per month)
The salaries depend on your profession
There also probably another 2k gbp in additional expenses per month
I suppose it all depend on your lifestyle if you like nice restaurant, beach clubs , alcohol then you can spend another 2k gbp per month
It’s not cheap don’t be fooled

People asking to many question are not serious, your dad when he came here from pakistan didnt ask alot of questions he knew there hope of a better life and he came with his plastic bag and figured things out, now you who migrating for the sake of allah (i hope) should be even more confident and trusting in allah as you are not doing for worldly gain but mainly for Religious gain, that doesnt mean to say you dont ask the right question and find out and prepare as much as you can it's just there become a crossed line where you trying to find out information that you will only know when you live there and you become just a procrastination zone while shaytan sits on your laps busying you with your dunya while your child learns all the filth and your religion slowly slips away generation by generation! GO!! Like your dad came lol and put all your trust in Allah! and prepare all you can no more delay no more excuses dont want to hear it anymore, i hear it too much

You could’ve just moved to Birmingham and a lot of what you said would still be true.

    • @user-yf5je1dn1q
      @user-yf5je1dn1q Před 8 měsíci +4

Personally i don't agree with your comment. Birmingham is not in a Muslim country. You don't always hear the adhan playing out loud and not many shops seem to play Qur'an aloud either. The body shop in the UK almost certainly wouldn't be playing Qur'an in a mall. Most nurseries aren't teaching kids adhkar, duas etc in Birmingham, with islamic nurseries being an exception. Someone from london does not need a special visa to move to Birmingham either so what he said about visa costs wouldn't be true. You would probably feel more scared praying on a random street in birmingham unless you're in a muslim-heavy area. Even then, there are unfortunately attacks upon Muslims sometimes regardless of if it is a Muslim-heavy area or not. May Allah protect the Ummah from attacks. And the weather isn’t the same in Birmingham compared to dubai

@@BigAtiq oh yeah, crime in the UK is out of control. Be it Birmingham, London or unfortunately other cities too. Gang crime, theft and drugs, stabbings etc are not under control. And kids are being taught in the UK about sexuality and gender is disgusting. May Allah guide the deviants.
