My family had gone to London every year since 2014 until 2019. It was either the Piccadilly Line or an expensive taxi we would take into town. Great to see that you can be at Paddington in just over 30 minutes on the Purple Train!
The best thing about it, in my opinion, is that it goes beyond Paddington to places like Bond Street, Liverpool Street, Canary Wharf, etc.
Me too, my family would take the Piccadilly to Leicester Square and go down the Northern Line
😮i😅😅😮😂😂😊😊😊😊😊😊 12:16 😊😊
I love the modern Elizabeth line trains, the class 345. I ❤ Trains a lot.
Wow heathrow
Love Heathrow
Same
The steam locomotives at Southall! That’s so cool seeing that, I wonder if the second one was a 9F
Who else finds it annoying that this service doesn’t stop at Southall? That’s a really important stop on the route that it skips.
Same, I never know when a train will actually stop at Southall if they keep on skipping it. 😢
they do that with west ealing and hanwell too
@@drxftin2223 West Ealing and Hanwell I understand though since they’re not major stops on the route. Makes sense that the only the Abbey Wood-Heathrow ones stoo there
@@encrypted22 I just realised that too!
@@zacmirza6498 yeah true and southall as well
I never thought about it till now, I can’t imagine how much storage your device has to support a 1+ hour film record 😳
I've just been doing this journey a lot because I was visiting London while staying at a Heathrow hotel, and every time I was on the Elizabeth Line the same thing happened, where all the tourists at Heathrow cram into the first carriage, not realising that the rest of the train is totally empty. Someone ought to tell them to spread out more.
Can anyone help
I need to travel to Heathrow Terminal 4 on Saturday early morning.
Got 8 luggages and I have to carry most of them myself . Wife will accompany me with a 6m baby.
Options are -
Travel to Stratford station/Customs House via taxi which is going to take £15, take Elizabeth line straight to Heathrow Terminal 4
Question is will I get enough time to board the train with all my luggages?
How long does the train wait at each station?
Other option is to hire a taxi which will cost £80
Quite expensive but easier on the back.
What should I do?
@@FarhanIshrakAhmedUchchash Elizabeth Line is the best option. The trains wait quite a long time at the stations on the Elizabeth Line, much longer than on the Tube. So you should have enough time to put the luggage on. Train waits at least 30 seconds at each stop. I don't think a taxi is the right option.
I think you can still go from Shenfield to Reading even though it’s longer. But it’s nice to see the Elizabeth Line operating from Shenfield to Heathrow Airport Terminal 4 and Terminal 5.
Also how comes its not stopping at Hayes and Harlington coming from Heathrow Airport. Including those who are coming from Reading who want to get to Heathrow Airport via changing at Hayes & Harlington.
Nearly every train from Heathrow will stop at Hayes and Harlington. I know because I've been doing it recently.
Ok 👍
35:19 I will never understand people leaving behind their rubbish in public places. Do they think it will miraculously disappear after them? Great video btw!
Ikr, I hate littering in general too
nice
Unusual question but do you know roughly what speed the train passes through stations at? Thanks for filming this btw
About the same speed as normal tube trains, which is about 10 mph I think.
@@ajs41 that seems far too slow to me. The platforms are 250m so going at 10mph would mean almost a minute to pass through the stations.
@@KGM338lly let’s work it out.
-According to a very crude measurement on Google Earth Southall is 230m long.
-The pass is from 14:01 to 14:10.
-230 metres in 9 seconds is around 25.6m/s ( *roughly 57mph* or 92km/h) so you were correct.
Elizabeth Line Class 345
I wonder how you manage to get away with taking photos/videos at the Heathrow stations without getting told off 🤔
Why do you keep saying these
Because he has special needs and loves trains. It’s best to ignore him.
@@aaronthomas6269 because I want to know how someone would manage to take photos/videos at the Heathrow stations without getting told off
There is NO specific Law in the UK that says you CAN NOT film at train stations or on trains themselves.
It's also NOT a Criminal Offence to film Police because there is again NO specific Law that says it's illegal to do so.
Even if the police say to you it is illegal to film them or film at train stations or on trains.
The police like to think that they have the right to create laws as well as enforce them.
UK Government create laws/legislation through Parliament and police are only there to enforce these laws.
Police are not allowed to make laws up as they frequently try to do, as they go about there jobs.
The police are always abusing or trying to abuse their authority.
This is one of the reason's i don't like them.
And i am NOT a Criminal either.
He isn't breaking any laws by filming, therefore will not get told off by anyone, because he isn't doing anything wrong or illegal.
This 100% true to the best of my knowledge.
I found this out through reliable accurate research on the Internet.
I hope this helps.
It's very important to know the law as well as your rights & responsibilities so the authorities don't try and abuse them.
Interesting vlog.
Did you changed trains during the journey, or it's all the same coach? I noticed a fade and different seat from Bond Street
No he did not change trains, it’s class 345 Set 020 the whole time. Check the start and end of this video

Hi set 20!
The service it too long in east side on crossrail to terminal 5 to Shenfield to should go gela park to short service i much longer Heathrow express?
Heathrow Express takes 15 minutes to get to Paddington.
Yep and the Class 387/1a are nice trains but the seats are less comfortable.

I don't get why they don't just say "terminals 2 AND 3"
What's the closest station?
Where to exactly.
To his place

Used several times, usually 20-30 min delays for any made up reasons. Just like all other trains.... crap!

Next station Bond Street. Change for Central and Jubilee. Central what? Jubilee what? The English language changed? Change for bad. Bad what? Bad English.
