The idea of different city/character art styles in the sequel slaps. That would add so much replayability. This showcase was a nostalgia trip, great vid and commentary Caboose.

Would love to see someone swap out the villains for their PS1 game counterparts as well, if possible; most of the villains in this game were represented in those games, with the main exceptions being Mister Negative, Tombstone, and the Vulture.
Same here, Doc Oc with Carnage attached game me NIGHTMARES. Absolutely LOVED 1 and 2 of the PS1 games.
I played it on the ps4 and didn't have a memory pack so I lived in that first level. Took plenty of pictures with the Spider Armor in the half-pipe looking building where you get the power up. That orange glow and Stan's voice was was a warm comfort before I had to go to school as a kid.

just played spider-man ps1 recently and i can confirm for you that the suit you aren’t sure of is the spider-man unlimited nanotech suit from the cartoon. it’s kinda hard to tell due to the coloring and lack of web cape

This really hits home for me. The 2000 Spider-Man ps1 game is honestly the thing that really spring boarded my love for the character at such a young age. I must’ve used every cheat code and replayed the game every day at one point in my life. Love this mod to death

Spider-Man Unlimited it was a very short comic run and had an animated show as well in the late 90s it’s on Disney +
Monster ock was so stressful when I was a kid, then edge of time hit me with it again when I was a teenager legit had PTSD

Carnage Ock made me stand up everytime I played that mission.
The secret wars was replaced with Spider-Man Unlimited. Thats what the suit is, in the og game, it had a camo mode

Beautiful. People say that every new version of Spider-Man we get always makes Peter a teenager but that’s not true. They only think that because the most recent versions of him we’ve gotten have him as a teen. The only game where he’s been a teen is in ultimate Spider-Man and we’ve had 4 shows where he’s an adult and 2 movie franchises where he’s an adult. Tobey finished high school in the first act of Spider-Man and Andrew graduated high school at the beginning of the amazing Spider-Man 2. After that we got 2 shows of Spider-Man being a teen and a movie trilogy of him being a teen which set up his next trilogy as an adult. My point is, there’s an exaggeration of there being too much of Peter Parker being a teen in every new series. And seeing this makes me remember how I’ve always wanted a Spider-Man game series that starts Peter’s origin and he’s in high school. Insomniac sort of gave me that when they made Spider-Man Miles Morales and I love that game but it wasn’t Peter and they didn’t really use the school element of Miles’ character. Insomniac should make another Spider-Man game franchise based on the ultimate comics BUT DONT HAVE PETER DIE
