I’ve been making this for years. I learned to make it from my grandmother and she never put the sugar in, just cream cheese, vanilla and whipped cream. It’s the perfect cheese cake for anyone who is diabetic as it has all the flavor without the blood sugar going crazy.

Years ago I discovered this recipe but it had the addition of a can of sweetened condensed milk. It takes it over the top! I am found to try adding lemon juice the next time I make it. Thanks for the video!

I brush the premade crust with melted butter before filling and let it absorb before filling it. Otherwise I find the crust stays hard.

There are a lot of variations for this - but the best thing ever is the NO BAKE part. I can't handle too much sweet, so I'm going to diabetic friendly this as well as I can. I've read to cut the sugar in half or omit the sugar all together. How about using Splenda? I'm opting for Fresh Strawberries, as well. This is on my Honey Please Do List for tomorrow! I gotta say, I tweaked it a little bit...I used 2 Tbsp Vanilla, 1 cup Granulated Splenda Sugar and Frozen Cool Whip, Zero Sugar. I did taste it as I mixed everything together and it's perfect for my taste buds, not at all sugary sweet! I also cubed up a small container of fresh strawberries and mixed in 1 Tbsp on the noted sugar and put that in the fridge, too. Thanks, again, for the recipe! **Edit #2 - My daughter tasted the lemon extract more than I did but that's fine with me, I liked the turn out. Not at all overly sweet and it fit just right in a store bought crust.....Take care!

I used to make one that required a can of berries of some kind. Don’t remember if it was black berries, or what.

2 cups heavy whipping cream. 1/2 cup powder sugar. 1 teaspoon of vanilla. That’s how you make homemade cool whip. Delicious. You will never buy cool whip again. So easy.

I don't understand why anybody uses store bought graham cracker crust when it's so easy to make. Crush 9 whole crackers, mix in 2 Tablespoons sugar, add 5 Tablespoons melted butter, mix and put in pie pan. Chill and fill.
