  • Those passing by may notice two abandoned lots, one that is a rusty old building that used to be the trophy lounge bar.

Yeah they build places yet charge $2000 a month and call that affordable housing. Not all of us can affordable that.

Youd think they would be faster on this decision 8 years is over due. My high school was abandoned three years later its like it was never there. They build a library and apartments. In 3 years

Cool, just build it already, we need more housing and decent mixed-use buildings yesterday
That being said, social housing would be cooler...

That Trophy Lounge should have become a national heritage bar .. if that’s even possible. That place was legendary. Had many good times there. I’ve never seen so many middle age filipina women with YUGE fake boobs. And then when the bar closed they’d take you out to eat pancit lol

The homeless already do that! It's called "squatting" and it doesn't cost the taxpayers a dime!

Besides a worn sarcastic comment, what could you contribute to help?

All they're doing is going to give kickbacks to developers That's all they ever do they're not really helping the low income I mean we see people still struggling everyday somebody's feeling their pockets and it's not going to be anybody who needs the home improvement who needs housing who needs this and that it's never going to happen

A shame that San Diego will be known as a low income housing state

Interesting comment. Low income housing is actually for middle class families as anyone below that class can't afford the housing unless it is subsidized.

There are tons of these places just sittin...... and ones even in better shape and ready to go NOW but since we aren't all billionaires they would rather people be homeless and stretch out the process until companies can come together where they all get something out of it instead of the main priority of humans needing housing!!!!!! Your all annoying! Lol
