eBay has a lot of cheap stuff, especially for game consoles. But at times they're so ridiculously cheap that you have to wonder what the quality is like or how useful they even are. So I've decided to buy a dozen accessories for PS4 and try them out. The results may NOT surprise you and end up being what you're totally expecting.

I got one because I had an overgripping problem and that helped allievate some of that
Maybe I should try this. I tend to have a death grip on my controller every time the game gets too tense.

@@misieeek9251 it's mainly not for the sweat it's mainly to stop u gumming up the sides of ur controller and to keep it clean and easy to wipe off dirt

Fake PS controller is probably for PC. And the wheel is a kinda prototype a guy on Reddit made and everyone liked it but it does work. Chineses manufacturers made em to sell
Can confirm, I 3D printed one for myself, its free to download from thingiverse as well. Chinese manufacturers got them from there and now selling them. Anyway for racing games, it works and feels better than the thumbstick
Another thing was that he used nfs 2015 which has horrible handling physics in the first place
I wonder if the fake PS controller would work better with computers than an actual dualshock 4. I like to plug a controller into my PC or Chromebook every once in a while but the dualshock 4 doesn't always play nice. I just can't bring myself to switch to an Xbox 360 controller, I love the dualshock's design.

I have the exact same thumb grips for 3 years now and i am totally pleased with them. Now i can't play without them! It helps very much if your thumbs sweats alot.

Dude, those stick tip covers are actually great. And you can get them in different heights too. Giving more precise movment. I know it sounds weird, but they work. And i got like 20 for 2 bux on wish. So worth it. They fit almost every controller, even the odd android controllers i have. Steam controller, xbox. .. just everything.

I would put those on *only* when the rubber on the sticks are withered

@@PlumbCarton5607 i know I'll get flak for this but on my ps3 controllers, i peeled the rubber off purposely then put a drop of super glue on the under side of those caps before putting them on. let's just say they arent coming off anytime soon. lol
In my experience I can’t stand the regular grip for the DualShock joystick and I played with the 360 controller, the cheap grips you bought for 1$ are like heaven to me, I guess I’m weird lol
I can't stand them either.. thumb grips definitely improve your gameplay and good gamers know that.
Dual Fisher gaming yes!! I never liked the regular grips but the £1 ones are soooooo good I lost one and bought the exact same one but it feels different but I don't mined. Also I bought a £35 controller off eBay and I okay competitive in fortnite and I cannot use it the sticks are not right? Is this normal??

the rubber thumb pads are a controller saver/bringing trash controllers back from the dead at times. for a buck, or free with a charger from amazon in my case, very much worth it imo
I think the thumb grips are for covering worn down thumbsticks
They are, and contradictory to the video. They feel better than having the originals ( for me at least) and far far better than using the controller with ripped thumbsticks. I have a set of 20 of different colors. Been using them for a year now.
Raised ones make it easier to control and aim.
The nubs I'm pretty sure are for people like me who's rubber on their analog sticks has started to wear off lol

Ps4 controllers are a little different now, they changed the analog sticks like a year or 2 ago. The rubber no longer wears off

Ryan have you ever had a PS4 Scuf controller? I first got one in 2015 for competitive cod but I use them for every game now, I could never go back to a normal PS4 Controller.

Those rubber caps for analogs are a life-saver if your analog isn't in good condition, I "resurrected" some dirt cheap controllers I found on the flea market, like, people selling them for 3 bucks just because of the bad condition of the rubber on the analog sticks.
Hey Ryan, the grips are not just for extra grip, some of our Dualshock Gen 1 and Gen 2's have the rubber start wearing off after hours of gameplay to the point where it can start blistering your fingers. So the over the top grips help there.
Its even cheaper getting stuff off AliExpress. I find ebay listings to be priced slightly higher. The manufacturing is even the same.
Refund and delivery times are better, if you look hard enough and use discounts it can be cheaper. I have a eBay plus account for reassurance and paid practically nothing for it cause I got a voucher and free Netflix

I tried out those sticky thumb grips like a year ago and I didn't think I would like them but now I can't play without them 😂 they are great
Nubs are great to combat wear on the sticks' coating. I personally bought a couple a few years ago because the outer coating of the sticks was wearing off after having played a fair amount of Destiny 2.
The "controller condom" isn't really helpful to me. It just gets greasy easily and doesn't improve gameplay.

Ryan IDK about you but I love my DS4 thumb-grips. With my first controller the rubber ripped after only a few months but with the grips I never had that problem again.

For some reason I was assuming you were mainly going to be testing third party controllers, as that's my main interest. Buuut I'll watch this anyway. Fairly entertaining honestly.
I can really recommend this blue rubber cover skin. It does not even create rubber waste on hands and keeps on place. But I also have one (black) for Dualshock3, which is low quality (still ok).

The thumbstick covers are actually usefull as they help to prevent getting callus on your thumbs. It works for me at least...
Once I discovered them all my controllers have the tabs. Even my old Xbox and psone pads.

I bought those same thumb sticks, I actually wore out one set and got another so it's kinda cheap but lasts longer than the rubber on the originals did. I also bought metal face buttons including dpad too. Was gonna buy metal triggers but they were like $15 for one set so I skipped them.

The silicone covers are pretty good. We use it at home because it has some shock absorption from drops

Those metal analogs are the best! I've replaced my V1 controller analog sticks (which were ripped due to their awful quality) with those and they feel amazing

I bought both that chat pad/battery booster, and that charging stand for $15 each in a store. Must be nice to buy stuff online. I've used the stand for a few days, and it's doing what it does and does it well. The chat pad/ battery booster did well for me, but I stopped using it completely as I don't chat on PS4 much or needed to charge my controller in long playthroughs
I have 2 of those chargers and i was supprised it came with cords.. good buy
