So there were no other famous Bristolians which the venue could have been named after instead of Colston? Bristol Beacon sounds absolutely terrible - luckily I hardly ever go there !
Hi there! Thanks for watching our renaming launch. We made the decision not to name our organisation after an individual but with a name that better represents what we stand for which is celebrating the joy of live music.
Not everyone will like the name, and that's ok with us, as long as people can find music experiences that they love. We'd love to welcome you back sometime.

Why not just call it Bristol Hammer and Sickle hall? Because that's basically what you Bristol Music "Trust" is.
Some good films as part of the new name launch. I have to admit I was sceptical of the new name on first reading but after watching I feel like it's a fitting name for a major Bristol venue.
