- An absolutely amazing gem of a Boston Garden employee giving us one final tour of an empty, yet still operational Boston Garden.

I feel like I sat In every one of those seats and walked every mile of the Old Gahden. Went there for over 30 years from Medford. I watched My Dad graduate from North Eastern there. One of My More prouder moments. I saw Bobby Orr play Hockey there. I saw Terry Oreilly play for The Boston Braves there. I saw ThevGrateful Dead there multiple times. I saw Normand Leveille play there. ( sadly, it was a very short career for him. )God bless him. ). I miss that place. I miss the smell. I miss Saturday matinee Bruins games there. I miss Saturday night wrestling. I miss that place all together. Thanks for the memories.

@@RSTI191 yes. I’ve been to both old and new and to me since they renovated its just not the same. Its like with the Yankees. The older stadium was way louder

Front row Balcony, center ice was the best seat in sports. I remember Neely saying it felt like the crowd was right over your head!

Closed in 95 I think it was demolished a couple years later

@master-kq3nw I was lucky enough to see a few bruins games at the old barn with my dad as I was born in 1980 and I so wish they could have somehow found a way to turn it into a museum I would have loved to still be able to go into the old garden
