  • In this video I installed a manual boost controller on the volvo 340 to try and achieve 10+ psi of boost before I send the ECU of to get chipped.

Mate! Can't tell you how grateful I am for the effort and energy you're putting in to these videos. Real inspiration.. As I managed to aquire a 340 last year from a dude, pretty much identical to yours, couple years older (1988) it needs some real tlc.. but once I have the wherewithal and the knowledge it's hopefully gonna be my Grand Tourer and I'll take it back to its motherland Sweden haha. Maybe we'll go for a cruise one day!

Can you add these after your Boost Solenoid but before the gate to gain an extra 2/3Lbs of boost? I am on a Boost Tune where I believe I am on like 15ish lbs of boost and would like to just add 2/3 more lb's.. Any advise, I don't feel like going through an whole new tune.. It was Dyno'ed just for number's I think the tuner just flashed me over to like a stage 2ish Map and called it a day.. They didn't really tune the car little by little adding power, They just flashed it. and showed me the results...

Oh also them manual boost controllers - or similar - because the barbs/ports on them are screwed into the controller body itself can end up leaking, so if its not already then no worries but if it is or does put a we bit of teflon tape on the threads.

No worries mate. The rspec ones are real good as the ports/take offs are part of the mbc body itself so that removes the risk of boost leaks.

You should of kept the ebc plugged in unless your ecu doesnt care about it and not flashing eml also.

You dont put a t piece in a wastegate line mate.
You never take vacuum from that or the fpr.
It should be off the intake manifold wether thats its own line or teed off a brake booster line.
