- After two weeks of preparation, Ricardo and I decided to hike an active volcano in Guatemala. This journey was definitely not an easy one. From being sleep deprived, suffering to altitude sickness, and even hiking with an injured toe! Ricardo and I made it to the spectacular views of volcano fuego by hiking Acatenango.
We definitely could not have done this without the help of the amazing guides at @vhiking.tours ! They served us breakfast, took us to the volcano and were there with us along the whole way when we feel behind the pack.

I’m so proud of you guys!!!!! My body physically couldn’t do that only cuz of the high evolution idk how to spell it or say it but when I drove from Indiana to Nevada I was soooooo sick & I thought I would be fine & thought getting sick from being so high up didn’t exist but it does 😅😅 you guys are real champs! Me reaching close to 1,000 evolution I wouldn’t be able to continue. You guys are such an inspiration & strong! I love you guys! This was a kool experience to watch! My dad and his two friends hiked this volcano in there 20s! He said at the time there were no trails to go up but they made it up! They ended up hiking it again a few months later, and when he recently went back he hiked it with his older brother!
