I loved the blue one with the pearls. I remember my mother wearing fancy bathing caps. When I was young, you had to wear them in public pools, but mine was white with a strap.

I remember having to wear one in the 60s and 70s while swimming.

back in the day curls were really fashionable, and in the 60's the big beehive got in style, these styles could labour intensive so ..no wetting! Color is also an issue.

@MsMissSunday You can still get swim caps though most are made of silicone now not rubber and aren't nearly as cute since they're most popular with competitive swimmers who care more about function than form.

Back in the day when women were demure, well behaved & not like todays loud, uncouth, beer swilling foul mouthed examples of the "fairer sex", but i do believe that there are still some nice girls out there somewhere. If you see any let me know..LoL..
