Beautiful but is it hard to upkeep? Using CO2? I see the equipment used but was that due to it being specifically needed? Also where did you get the tree?
The tree is crafted by Vietnamese aquascaper. I got it from a shop in Vietnam. :) It's not so difficult to upkeep but you need to change the canopy time to time when the stem plants deteriorated. I used CO2 for that tank for sure. It makes the whole plant growth better. :)

Hi buddy. Thank you. 😃 As you can see from my video, I used ziptie to make bunches of stem plants and stuff it in the bonsai branches. It helped to anchor there better.
You can glue the bunch there, too. However, I always try not to use glue, if there are alternative ways to. Glue might damage the stem plant and also leave the white marks there. The stem plants here also need to replace time to time due to deterioration. So as long as you can stuck them to the branches, that's good. 😁👍
Thank you. Normally, my practice is 1bps of CO2 for every 30L of water volume. You can observe the plants, if it is growing nicely using that gauging, then just keep it that way. If not, increase a bit more. 😊
Hi buddy, most aquatic plants can take up nutrients from the water column itself without planting in soil/substrate. Rotala species is actually an easy going stem plants. You can try to let some trimming float in the tank, it still can survive and have roots development after sometimes. 😍

Mình nghĩ OK. Odyssey bóng T5 dùng tốt mà. Vảy ốc cũng không phải loại quá cầu kỳ, nó khá dễ trồng. ☺️

@@LitiAquaria Vâng em vẫn trồng bọn vảy ốc theo kiểu "chân không chạm đất" nhưng toàn là để cắm điểm bố cục hậu cảnh bể dự thi thoai :)))))

Is it safe to trim the roots back when they get to long?
Yes, it should be alright. Having said that, I love the lengthy roots since it replicate a real tree roots. 😁👍

Maintenance is easier since less plants rather than the canopy need to do regular trimming and replanting to make it bushier, bro. 😊
