Initially, according to the rumors on subreddit and other forums, there were plans to do a alignment type of system that would call you out for your choices on either side, but the devs scrapped it because simply because of the story that the moral system was irrelevant. And for the fact that it would make the community upset because it would just simply favor one over the other for being "unfair" because they would have something the other doesn't have an equivalent in quests. The knight is also a clear self insert like a Pokemon player character because you would insert your own personality in the knight into whoever you want them to be. They realized how complicated and time consuming it would be, so best thing to do was simply leave it as it is.

For example, you can repeatedly kills Lorraine clones early in the game. She fly off in comedy fashion and it's played off as she just keeps coming back (you actually witness her dieing earlier in the game and being replaced by a clone). Later on death is still presented in a cartoony fashion but the characters take it more and more seriously. Then the torture starts. What have gotten myself into?
especially when reach world 9.... the killing we've done and witnessed, is more than a normal person could handle we also couldn't save a LOT of them... I actually quit the game for a while, because I feel too damn bad and powerless
we've been through so much shxt and all we could do is just do what we could do, you can't save everyone, even though you really tried, but damn, the world does not give a fuxk
I do wish they would add a punishment system for choosing all the evil choices. The game is just too forgiving. I don't wanna be a cool adventurer. I just wanna be evil

I personally kept myself 2000 to 3000 gems per boss phase, due to it being so hard I needed these revivals to pass Also it's good to exit the stage after beating a phase once you die because the game spawns you in e.g. the secound phase of the fight once you've beaten the first one. It saves a lot of gems. (The chapters after this one are doable tho due to having set characters)
Can't wait till they add an actual use for the meter and stop making most of the missions pull you closer to the good path. That way I can actually be the evil mastermind I always wanted to be
I have an idea for the hallways that have, depending on your choice, two things. If you are very good, one of those things will appear that heal you and revive your allies and if you are bad, there will be something in your game like the 1 million HP bomb in SAUL that will take 25% of life from all enemies and to you 10% of life
I think it might be because the sub quest and stuff like if you don't accept lana's last run in world 11 and things like that because I got apostle of justice before world 12 so when I killed a bunch of civilians I was still an apostle of justice
The only time I did something evil is in the Rah empire phone call thingy, I misunderstood the red one thinking I'm gonna call soldiers from heavnhold ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ
I think it's a fun idea, but I really do wish the karma meter had more use. I think it should move more for everything you do, so it doesn't feel so stagnant. Also, different buffs and nerfs. Maybe getting terrible karma makes enemies increase in levels, but you get better rewards or something, at least. It's a kinda wasted mechanic that could become something. At the very least, make it get effected more, even if it does nothing. More chances for it to go up or down, more movement each time, even if its just visual, it would be way more fun.
