Please do a report on Kohima LPG Gas Dealers overcharging the public too. In Kohima, gas agencies don't allow public to buy refill gas cylinders from their Agency Office, they force everyone to buy from their delivery trucks which will come to the colonies so they can charge Rs100/- extra.
We the public should voice out for our rights.
We cannot voice out coz someone is there and it's there..... ✌😎

@@JulietGianna-nj9be Do they charge the 'Special' extra charge called 'Hill District' Charge? The actual MRP amount given for Kohima is Rs822/- by the Central Government. In Kohima, gas Agencies are charging Rs60/- as 'Hill District' Charge above the Prescribed MRP of Rs822/-.
In New sectt we don't face such incident we can do anything/anytime we want unlike your colony...
Why only media covered in Dimapur please cover Kohima too

As usual we pay @860/- in cash per refills LPG cylinder these days here at Dimapur which we personally collect from the Godown itself. If 40/-Rs. is an amount for the delivery charged ie 820+40=860/- in total, then this may be refunded to all customers by verifying the GAS BOOKLET without further delay. In this regard District & Police Administration, NCD, DNSU, Etc should look into the matter immediately to avoid unnecessary problems. Further, do let to give a clear clarion indicating the Company's rate as notifying by the GOI, of present rate fir refilling per cylinder & the delivery charges to the public domains in the interests of public services

The price ₹.861/- per cylinder is issued by the govt.
If the govt says "Nagaland" then the entire nagaland area price will be the same. The govt has to pay for the travelling & carrying charges according to district.
We public don't have to pay extra money.
Sometimes it depends on village council or town committee also, untill and unless they take extra tax as their pocket money😈.

They said they don't allow customers to come to go down but if u come they charge u extra and if they delivery it to ur home they charge delivery charge..! Wata Logic....!! And labour-delivery charge for what?? It's in every agency. Over price extra charges on delivery they don't even drop in our door steps. Daylight robberies where public pay without complaining in order to get the cylinder.

Law has given enough power to consumers right but sadly our people don't bother to fight for it.If there any issues with regard to unfair trade practices one should directly file a complaint directly to district consumer protection forum, one can file complaint without engaging advocate.

If it is indeed illegal, they should refund all the 40 Rs back to the customers collected illegally over the last many years. Details of this amount can be collected from the gas book entered after every delivery.
