I honestly thought I would own the mt09 for a while and then move to the mt10 but I was wrong. I will never get rid of this bike. It’s a blast

MT-10 is crazy, I was thinking the same, as soon as I drove the MT10 I realized that I wasn’t ready for that power. 09 is more than enough
MT10 is a brutal machine. It's a Mt09 x 10. So everything the Mt09 is known for the MT10 does even more.
I won't sell my mt09 ever. Maybe just get the new 1 and then use the old one for hooligan stuff
@@ararami1 I’m thinking of going to an mt10 from a Suzuki sfv650. Only reason why is for the extra power for long trips on the highway plus it has cruise control. The new mt09 has cruise control but has a silly looking headlight.
@@keltecdan I always hear this and thought the same but on my xsr900 I barely even use fourth gear and it’s got 6. If I’m in fourth gear on the freeway I’m going above 150kmph. under 110kmph ( our speed limit on freeways) on anything over third gear is like 3-4K revs and feels like it’s gonna stall. It’s got more then enough power for anything. I wish it pulled more a little more in fourth gear like it does in 1-3 but short of that it’s a thing of beauty

Have 2 2018 MT09 with no plans to get a 2021 very happy with mine and just as fast and cost a hell of a lot less. The mark up on 2021 is nuts.

he wasn't hanging off much and he was almost crossed up instead of leaning forward into corner. I don't think he had any tyre left

Yo nunca había manejado una moto, solo una motoneta por 10 minutos (yo quería una motoneta pero no me alcanzaba ni para una de uso) y ahora tengo la fortuna de tener una MT09 2020 y es un amor el sonido del motor, la potencia, la forma en la que te entrega el torque y sus frenos que son grandiosos. Y puedo decir que es mi Dragona(la mujer de burro en Shrek) puede intimidar y ser peligrosa, pero si la tratas con amor y respeto te cuidara, he manejado en suelo frío (3°C aprox) en lluvia, en suelo donde habían arenilla y pequeñas piedras. y el ABS, y Control de tracción poco los eh necesitado pero me han salvado de algún pequeño susto. CON ESFUERZO TODO SE CONSIGUE ESPERO QUE ALGÚN DÍA TENGAN LA MOTO O VEHÍCULO QUE QUIEREN

Wau yo tuve muchas motos en mi vida y adoro el sonido de la Kawasaki 1100 y su seguridad. Tuve la llamada Patrol que usaron los PFC hace algunos años. Pero el sonido de esta en el video me trajo recuerdos.

As a Mt09 owner. I can tell you that head shake under hard acceleration is normal. Happens all the time with me.
2019 MT09 owner here; I don't have that issue at all. Shoei RF1400 helmet probably helps alooot though.

Yes sir I have a 2019 MT09 and it's a beast, love the sound , handles great but even better with a V5 stabilizer, it's fast as he'll through the canyons and haven't even started modifying it yet. Lots of great upgrades, and insurance is way cheaper because it's under 1000cc, Looks mean as he'll from all angles. I know the H2 is the fastest but you can't carve canyons at 200 mph lol, and it's 20k cheaper, great video 🤣
Even if the mt has the same horse power at r6(which it doesn’t)it could have been faster overall just and only from the engine layout…3cyl vs 4 cyl is not a match..high end and top speed r6 is way faster..

I used to do it at night on the interstate if you're familiar with the East Coast I-95 never had a problem. Very smooth no potholes no surprises able to see very far down the road in front of me which I found is key. When I did it in my car I did a crazy things during times when other Vehicles were on the road. Zigzagging back and forth using the emergency lanes or whatever you want to call them. Got chased by the police many times never got caught. Nowadays although I still have it in my blood I don't do it anymore.
Like the old Mustangs, 'just engine and not suspension' Gen3 is supposed to be tamed, however gen1 is the legend for being so petulant and perky
at 2:23 I squeeled like yoshi when I saw how the mt09 rider's head was like an inch from the solid metal pole going VERY fast!! Intense riding!

LT Rob United States Air Force retired. I still can't understand how certain people compare video games to certain real life experiences. There is absolutely no comparison to going to war and killing people. Driving a motorcycle at insane speeds and various other comparisons that are made. When you use a flight simulator you know when playing a game if you crash will you have a problem there's always a reset you're not going to die. You're not going to get hurt you don't have to eject. There's no G forces there's no pressure you can pause and go to the bathroom the list goes on and on including the best of games. Even virtual reality I've tried them over some of my son's friends homes and although they are realistic there's no comparison to the real thing.
It's a MT09 with a exhaust the best sounding bike other than the Yamaha RD350 with D@G exhaust.
Good on you, people don't even know what a RD350 with chambers is the BEST SOUNDING MC EVER.
It is both one of the most thrilling, greatest riding bikes and the most horribly uncomfortable and droning stupidly ready to go at any moment no chill bike. I hate it.

Definetly one of the best bang for buck bikes put there. I just parted with mine after 6 years and I rated up to a superduke.
what did you make of the superduke compared to the Mt09?
@@SMG59 the superdujes suspension is far superior, it feels way more planted in the corners. The fz09 kinda falls on its face about 115 where the duke still wants to rip your arms off at 140. Fit and finish all around is alot better but again the suoerduke is twice the money, which honestly I don't regret it one single bit. The fz was great and yeah beat alot of other bike but the superduke is a surgical weapon.

Just got one. From an 07...I love its potential for misbehaviour. I'm not a young un though nowadays and I'd like to think if i wink it the nod..itll nod back and we can live in harmony all sensible like...till I press the magical mode button..then all prior arrangements go out the window.
I sold mine to get a litre bike. The Mt09 could leave it and most other bikes up to the 100mph mark . It just wants to be riden hard, and the cp3 itself is one of the best engines.

Well, Back a few years I considered buying the mt09 sp.. went on a test drive and was currently owning a 2010 r6 back then. It was super fun to ride but I had to stick to the r6.
Now I bought another r6 lol
I wish MY neighbors had ''piped'' MT-09s instead of their crappy sounding F-150s w/ blown out glass packs.

MT is definitely for people that choose a bike like the'd do with a sofa - based on two things : looks and comfort. These people usually get maxi scooters, thinking that they are equal to motorcycles... well you cannot help culture or knowledge level or awareness... there is no single bike for all purposes - these are simply generic bikes that tend to suck from all aspects.

Mt09 has most of it’s torque across all the rpm range unlike the R6 wich has it’s torque at the high rpms

En torque tiene mucho más la MT09, en fondo gana la R6 por el carenado y que no está limitada al no ser naked y ser deportiva.

I own the xsr900 same engine and suspension as the mt09. Incredible engine, incredible brakes, astounding sound, awesome stability and fantastic fuel economy. Summarizing: superb bike at a reasonable price.

Yo soy dueñp de la mt 09 street tracker y no podia estar mas contento con ella , eso si .... Lo de a 200 km h es cierto pero se arregla con un buen amoriguador de dirección , no valen copias chinas jajajaj , es perfecta y su fiabilidad es excelente , y otra cosa que resaltaria su bajo peso le hace ser muy ágil
depende como te haya salido esa moto en particular, yo tengo la misma MT09 y ando en 230/240 sin ningun amortiguador de direccion (ni antishimy) y no tiembla ni se mueve nada, por eso me imagino que debe ser como haya salido cada una o la que te haya tocado a vos.

why does the steering become unstable even when driving straight?
Because of the high speed that lifts the fromt wheel. And when it doesnt go straight down guesa what happens :) not only this it could happen for different kinds of reasons but mostly just speed causing things.
