Man i just realized without the staff it was even more terrifying. The silence is so eerie, and any noises make you shocked. MC is really a horror game.

If only they had datapacks in the server that allows for feeding and ejecting CD from the player so it doesn't have to be done manually by staff. The lack of 'scary' bgm is a waste
I think this is more scarier than when it was "staffed".

I think it also works better with just one person in it and not groups like during the festival.
Plus people would laugh at Miko silently shadowing them and Polka randomly standing somewhere.
imma say, the scream at 1:03 and the door part at 4:10 is definitely enhanced cause there are no staffs, cause the scream at 1:03 is usually dimmed down cause the bgms that the staffs played, and the door at 4:10 is usually ignored cause the victims are too busy running away from merry when staffed, but wow, how cool is it that even not staffed, it still mnahed to scare the living out of someone

Not only it was an upgraded version of the previous one, the signboards also have english translations which is good for someone like moona
The fact that the haunted house is sort of automatic except the ghost part and still work without staff make it even scarier.
Although it’s pretty scary on its own, you won’t be able to experience true terror unless the Suicopath is chasing you xD

@@IDarkCalibur Just want to mention batod can be read as bacod in Japanese (idk about chinese or mandarin). Japanese often wrote ch as t in alphabet, like "hoshimati" instead of "hoshimachi" or "mikoti" instead of "mikochi"
@@shini183 Sorry but your comment is very inaccurate. Batod and bacod is not read the same in Japanese in fact they will read the words as "batodo" or "bakodo" first time. And lastly "ti" is used as an alternative for "chi" only. Any derivatives of "chi" like "cha,chu,cho" are alternatively written as "tya,tyu,tyo" respectively. For more info search for "Kunrei-shiki".

The Haunted house was unstaffed so it wasnt expected that it would be as scary as it was.
Without the staff, the CD won't play that's why it has no BG or what so ever, its just a cave noises and the thing from the lost city

How to make "that" effect anyway?
yea, it's manual by miko and polka~
so what moona saw earlier was....
You set up a quick "fusable" clock probably with a redstone torch. When you have a quick-clock with the torch, it will activate very quickly a few times, then "burn out" and turn off until the block is updated again. So, begins on "standby", then the door being manually open updates the block under it, the clock self-activates and spams the signal on that same block, making the door quickly open and close, then "burn out" and deactivate, returning to "standby mode"
You could also use a skulk sensor. Have all but one block in the path the user is walking be wool so that when they step on the non-wool block it triggers the skulk sensor which sends out a redstone signal for a couple of seconds. If the skulk sensor is in water it won't emit a sound. So then it's just a matter of ordinary redstone tech to create pulses that will periodically open and close the door. They did it using a pressure plate with a delay as the mechanism to begin pulse generation. It's easier to see, but in the low light levels there and having it in front of a door so that it seems like it's just meant to open the door, it's just as unexpected as something using skulk would be.
This door trick has been used last summer, iirc they did a stream making it. It's redstone tech.

Kalo ada staff bisa kepikir (ada orang di Tempat ini yg akan ber-aksi) malah jadi ngerasa di temenin/di tuntun. Mungkin bisa kalo gk di ketahui ada member yg ber-aksi nya, tapi chat suka Cepu/ngasih tau kadang² sih.
