OMSI 2 | Westcountry 3 | Brand New Route | 1A Totnes Town Circular

- Hello and welcome to another OMSI 2 video!
Today we're back on OMSI 2 taking another look at the more or less finished route 1A, a Totnes Town Circular route which takes approximately 30 minutes to do a round trip. This is a little local route which can be driven in the reverse direction, as the route 1B.
The obvious choices for this service would be the Studio Polygon Lite, or the Digibus Mirage, as they're smaller vehicles which would stereotypically be seen on a route like this. We're using the 11.5m Streetlite in the "Eclipse" livery.

A bus from my local area as live in Portsmouth and had a few of these working route 1 and 3 in Portsmouth
Haha yep same. I see these on E1/2, 1/3, 28, 28A and so on they are used on any route for now since some of the steeetlites are out of use

We have those buses down in Gosport in real life and when the doors open the engine turns off as well

These are in my area, they are quite smooth. The MMCs are in Potteries and some in Portsmouth wearing solent Livery. I spoke to a driver aparently these are smooth to drive and handle well irl but stop/starts annoying, probably the only streetlite the drivers like here since we have a billion of them now

These Eclipse buses do use Daimler but the sound a little different to the older ones from 2015/2016

Would of made more sense to call it 1A for anticlockwise and 1C for clockwise
