    I can not believe you can restore Old Car by hand. It's a great technique. I pay homage to your technology.

    I'm gonna say it because there is a ton of ignorance in the comments section here, but the s50b32 is extremely similar to the s14. The only difference is two more cylinders. More displacement= more power. He doesn't need to go f.i. or build the engine if he doesn't want to. Hes already making more power without any mods by dropping the b32 in. It's as much of any ///m powerplant as the s14. Both engines have the same individual throttle body setup. Nothing different internally at all. I am not discrediting the s14 because it's a great engine, but unless you're going to build it all motor, or boost it, the b32 is a much better choice. The cost of getting just the +/- 100 extra h.p. out of the s14 is not cheap. He already basically surpassed what youd be left with on a heavily massaged s14- (cams, bore, pistons, rods, porting, etc.) This was done by a simple swap without even cracking open the b32 unless he wants to. Everything on this car was done properly from what I see in the video. Great suspension work with all powerflex bushings/ kw's, proper bbs wheels, BBK, cage, smoked tails/ smoked smilies, real mtech bodywork/ adjustable wicker on the wing, splitter, etc etc. The build is very, very correct. The guy even made a rotisserie, wire-wheeled off all the undercoating, fixed all the rot, made patch pieces and brackets, zinc primed, seam sealed, etc.... he did this shit right. I am a BMW technician with over 25 years of wrenching on some great bimmers- (mods, fab work, race prep, etc) and I can give credit where it's due. I don't get this dumb ass BMW "purist" talk like people saying "it's not a real ///m car, blah blah blah." Seems like a whole bunch of people that really have no clue what they're even talking about just hating on the guy. I've built some very, very badass track weapons and this thing, (while not as built as others,) looks like a great start to some fun like BMW CCA or SCCA club events. Again, stop hating on the guys build with all this s14 nonsense. He could've put any powerplant he wanted in the bay. He could've stuck a fucking LS in there like so many have and how many BMW "elitists/ purists" would've had something to say about that?!?!? Hmmmmm

    Amazing car, and I can't fathom how much $$$$ that costs to do. Only one thing I would've left out it the back seat because roll cage. This has to be my dream car, no exotic/super/hyper cars are all crap compared to something like this.

      Lmao dude are you serious? The s50b32 is better than an s14. It's the same i.t.b. equipped motor with 2 more slugs. More displacement, and a TRUE ///m powerplant as well. Who wouldn't want more than 100 more ponies in stock form??? Its definitely a real m3.

  • @giorgioisgaming5814

      The s14 is a great motor and the euro s50 is no exception. Literally the s14 with 2 more cylinders and a little more than 100 additional more h.p. both engines have i.t.b's.

    Ganz ehrlich? Für ein Auto, das 70 k€ Wert ist, ist das eine minderwertige Lösung Blechstücke einzuschweißen. Da gehören originale Reparaturbleche hinein! Punktgeschweisst, versteht sich, wie ab Werk! Kein KTL? Ebenfalls sehr Schade...

  • @leveliroka
    @leveliroka Před 5 lety +2

    • @rexe3139
      @rexe3139 Před 5 lety +1

      leveliroka because the s14 engine is really difficult to find even if you did it still wouldn't be numbers matching. Also a s14 if you find one is very expensive

      Barry M3 oh 321 horse power is only the 2nd European revision of the engine the U.S never got it same with the six speed transmission

    • @psavel274
      @psavel274 Před 4 lety

      Correct. This is a b32 motor. The United States got the s50b30 which has no i.t.b's and around 250 h.p. I don't get why there is so much hate on the s50b32 swap???? Its an amazing engine. It's the SAME as an s14 with two more cylinders!!!!
