For a Glacier 'Trash' Bay it actually is not too bad at all - like it took the wash cloth and the grocery bag separately through a trapway that is tiny. The flush itself is reasonable, not the most powerful front flusher but it is enough to do what it has to do - on normal use (apart from the floaters). It is better than average but by not much (as it still failed the dish towel test as the trapway is not even big enough to pass it through), so the score for this Glacier Bay Front Flusher One Piece is 5.5/10 = still much better than the newer LWC HET examples!
For every toilet I get to restore and sell, I always do a 1 week normal use test before selling it to see if its worthy of going to a home. I got one of these from this exact year. It did fine, passed everything with it installed in my home for a week. Nobody complained. The performance was fine, bowl rinse was lacking in spots but overall useable.
I'm very impressed on this toilet, the fact that it took a Washcloth and a Grocery bag through that small trapway is very impressive. Guess i underestimated this toilet.. 😅
Here is the link to the video of the galexey lite I did not hold down the handle but if you do it does a dubble flush here's the link czcams.com/video/uOUJWwYcDM4/video.html
I like to connect the hose to the fill valve mainly so it shuts off when I want it to and doesn't overfill. It also looks better if there isn't a hose in the way.

I just wish the trapway was larger

Interesting
2:14 I knew it would pass
Yeah, it did really well!

I agree
One word: Jailhouse.😜😕🧐
Lmao
I can’t wait for the other dissection videos
Unfortunately this toilet wasn't dissected, I just threw it out because I needed space.
Bowl rinse is much better than a new glacier bay toilet
True

That's interesting, I think it has a bad flapper
I think everything is original and it's the flapper it drains only half the tank here's the tank view czcams.com/video/J6Kq8LLPuTY/video.html

@@cglplumbingoffical9601 Everything is original except the handle.
Flapper replaced
Better than most modern GB's flush and rinse wise. For an early 2000s el cheapo toilet, it aint bad.
Yeah true
Indifferent only. Why’d you replace the r&t valve? I’d just fill it with a hose

This toilet is decent afterall.
Yeah, it didn't do as bad as I thought.
Wow
Hmmm this thing is 100x better than my 15ft clogger Niagara toilet
I bet
Actually it might be a 2008 if I’m assuming because there might not be toilets that are this model in the 2005 catalog
It said 2005 on it
Flush rating is a B-
performance rating is a C+
I think this is the oldest Glacier Bay I've ever seen. It wasn't terrible for what it is
I keep seeing this terlit in new apt BUILDS and remodels, especially in NYC.
I never see them but I see the new ones (McClures) on occasion.
Please do some test of a Caroma
I would love to get a Caroma
anime-mian toilet
Lol
i really am not a fan of that flush, it looks pretty weak, but it didn't do too bad
Same
Kinda decent for a front flusher and for a Glacier Bay.
Yeah
My great grandma have this kind of toilet
Interesting
This toilet is a complete POS
Yeah, at least it's interesting.
I think the grocery bag will fail.
Sure looks like it
I think I've seen this toilet before
Interesting
@@OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations I once lived in some kind of house for rent back in 2010/11, and it was upstairs
I almost was going to hate this toilet but I seems fine The design looks very boring and boring it’s a decent toilet anyways…
Yeah, my issue is the trapway size.
Not like, really bad, but I still wouldn’t use it.
Same
The flush Is not interesting.
Glacier Bays are not in my life except the long swirly ones.
Look for the swirly non siphon jet one.
I don't like them either. I wish they were less common.
I know that "Standard" one-piece dissection was fake! The one piece is at 1:22 in this video!!!!!!!
No he actually did dissect the standard one pice this video was just made before he dissected it (sorry if I sounded rude I wasn’t trying to be rude).
I made this video before I dissected it
This toilet is nothing to write home about. But still an absolute garbage toilet.
Yeah, I'm not a fan of it.
@@OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations Me too
Pretty boring toilet tbh
I wish it was a siphon jet model
