No one ever talks about the Espevar bed base! That thing is solid as a rock. I put a thick velvet Crate&Barrel headboard behind it, and my bed setup is amazing. No hitting my shins on bed corners; no stuffing bedding awkwardly down the sides between the rails; no dust and dirt collecting on the rails; the base is the box spring so you don’t need one; can wash or replace the cover; and no squeaks. Edit: And easy to move when wanting to clean underneath although my vacuum fits, or rearranging your room.
Two of my favorite YT things, Valentina and Ikea! Also, just want you to know that I re-watch a lot of your videos for decorating tips, but one of my all time favs is actually your stay at the A-frame. That video is so full of family warmth & togetherness. I'll admit that Jack's obvious love for his family reminds me of my own father. This, combined with the editing, beautiful music at the end, and beautiful surroundings has me on the verge of tears each time I watch it, LOL!😅

Can you do a list of top 2023 rugs that you recommend? I need to buy 5 area rugs! So is it best to do simple design of my rugs or more of a Morrocan/Middle Eastern is where I can not make up my mind? Help please! Rugs are my long term investment for my home.

Those clear mugs are interesting, because this year I'm growing butterfly peas- the flowers are edible and make a beautiful blue stained tea. Can you imagine hibiscus and butterfly pea tea in those mugs?!

I'd add the Markfrost little accent lamp to your list of luxe finds. It's so cute and solid marble! The Molnart specialty light bulbs are also so cool and a great price - they can sell for like $50+ elsewhere. And of course the Dejsa mushroom lamp, the mouth-blown glass one that's a little larger than your Tokabo. I know mushroom lamps have been having a moment, but I don't know if I'll ever stop 🍄🇸🇪

I do feel fortunate to live near a few IKEA stores in Tampa and Orlando. Walking around the store is such a fun experience. I’ve been able to time it to go when it’s not as busy. Another great video ~Thanks!

I love going to IKEA but it’s easy to get lost in the store Lol 😂, especially if you don’t go on a regular basis, the one thing I wouldn’t recommend to anyone is the Havana collection of cupboards, we purchased them for my hubby’s office and the back of them have all got stained marks on them and the doors don’t close properly, I guess you get what you pay for, we didn’t want to spend a huge amount of money in his office because he’ll be retiring soon and we’ll probably get rid of them and I’ll change the room around to use for something else, but I love all your recommendations V, we don’t have a store close to us, so it’s a an all day trip, maybe I should think about buying online instead, just for those smaller items, I loved the throw rugs you shared, I’m in need of some new ones coming into our cooler months here in Australia 🇦🇺. Have Sanela curtains, they were installed with some random curtain rod and the worthy of the curtain ripped out the rod installation screws from the wall, just something to consider as they are heavy and should be installed with a heavier rod or sliding system as the one my handyman installed clearly wasn’t enough. Kittens might or might not have been involved. I do like those curtains a lot, with black and charcoal walls they add another layer of darkness and softness I love ❤️

Hi lady, I have the coffee/ tea glass cups they are good but be careful with the handle because it does get hot when you pour your coffee or tea so just let the coffee or tea cool off a little bit because you might burn yourself with the handle. I think glassware that I have from but I love Ikea.

I just moved down to South Carolina and the closest IKEA is in Jacksonville, Florida, which is a good 2 1/2 hours away from me. IKEA is an obsession….an addiction….I scroll through the app….visit the store to buy things in my list (thinking that after buying them my home will be completely perfect)…while buying those things in my list….I get to see more items…..but I don’t buy them thinking oh common it will be too much….. I return home that thing lingers in my head….thinking oh that corner of house will look so good by putting up that corner…. and the cycle goes on…..

Yep. I just watched someone on CZcams rip out their STUNNING solid, hardwood, kitchen cabinets, I mean TONS of lovely, milled, wood cabinets, ripped out an entire kitchen, butler pantry, coffee bar, etc. and install white IKEA garbage. I couldn’t believe it. IKEA furniture and cabinets just aren’t good quality. Period.

@@mikam8801 Most IKEA furniture and I believe ALL kitchen cabinets are made out of fiberboard. That’ll never compared to solid oak or maple or walnut. It’s just not great quality.
@@GEOMETRICINK I think you’ll find that even higher-end kitchen boxes are made with plywood, not solid walnut. Yes, Ikea boxes are heavy particleboard with a melamine veneer; and only the back, the part hidden against the wall and irrelevant to structural integrity, is fiberboard.
