Damn this guy is the living embodiment of a Buddhist; living in the present, watching the birds, finding peace in his craft. What a beautiful existence.
I can hear John's wife's saying "You spoil those birds" from here.
Lool
Assuming he has a wife. (He doesn't!)
Oh come on … she’s better than that. She says “John, your hobby is foul, it’s for the birds‼️”
I hope your kids and your grandkids cherish those magnificent bird houses just as much as you and the public does. You do excellent work absolutely love what you have done. Thank you for being kind to the birds.
I am actually one of his grand kids and me and my family love them so much!
The biggest bird house I've ever seen was home depot
i would love this guy as a neighbor, i love listening to the birds for one, and also imagine the amount of insects that army of birds is eating in that area. I bet this guy hasn't seen a mosquito in years
It sounds beautiful at 5 am when the birds start chirping and yes no mosquito`s in the last 15 years.
An amazingly talented craftsman and artist despite his health concerns.
He’s amazing! Thanks for watching!
Stunning Works of Art.
Dumb neighbors complaining about bird noise are probably descendants of the people that obliterated the passenger pigeons.
I wish I had as much free time and will power as these guys.
Lol, same!
And that wood ain't cheep! 🐥
Well, he does it for a living.
Retire with a skillset you've perfected over 25 years
Yeah, I have Fibromyalgia also (for 39 years). So glad you have a way to deal with the pain. Gorgeous birdhouses.
I live on 10 acres of land my husband builds me birdhouses with shingle roofs then he hands them over to me and I paint them I love all the little birdies that come back each year to nest in my birdhouses.
"It won't block a satellite signal" Haha!!! This is AWESOME!!!
A birdhouse, and he nonchalantly says 'has a car port...' 😂 love it
I too have suffered for over 20 years with fibromyalgia, I did 12 treatments of ionic foot detox and have been pain free for many years.. Hope this helps you
I know 2 women who do them that have myasthenia gravis. Both are doing amazing & remaining hospital & med free. One had her 4th child 2.5 years ago & is working fulltime on top of that. She couldn't walk to the end of her driveway prior to that. Must make sure they are legit Ioncleanse units, as there are many copycats that have stolen their studies & tout them as their own.
Man, I'd absolutely LOVE to have one of those! I have several abandoned nests & lots of birdhouses but nothing as nice as this. Lovely.♥
He needs to make a Munsters or Addams Family house 😮😮😮
That was my first thought. But that's what I would love in my yard.
@@justmejenny7986 me tooooo...lol and the psycho house also...
Good for you keeping busy with pain, know that feeling! Nice work! 😂
Just a master at his best. Awesome work.
I just don't understand how they look so perfect.
Absolutely no bird waste on or around or even on the ground under. Like a showroom. I love it, don't get me wrong.
A lot of people think that the birds make a mess everywhere but they don`t . They actually make a mess near the feeder .
😮 oh wow ❤ amazing how cool people are 🐦 💕 what a dream to have such a beautiful bird house in your garden 😍
You are an amazing craftsman! Love your birdhouses..
i worry if there becomes an official world record for this, future builders will ignore craftsmanship in favor of mass volume. that would be sad to see as this man creates beautiful architecture
Oh man, just discovered your channel! Literally sat up till 2 AM last night watching it...AMAZING!! As a kid I always loved building models and other stuff but have gotten away from it as I got older. I think I need to get back on that horse again, THX so much for your channel!
Happy to have you! Glad you liked what we do!! More to come!
I bet he's always surrounded by happy birds ❤ beautiful creations!
This man build an masion bird house and they get to live in it for free?!? Men are truly a gift.
That’s cool brother. These are almost as big as the tiny homes I build on trailers lol. Nice work 💪
5:15 That's a catio with the dream view!!!
Amezing job
That was super fun to watch! Can't 'like' it enough!! Glad to hear there's another documentary being done too. I'll be sure to watch that one too.
The birds ready to move in 😄
So beautiful! That would be a wonderful project to do with the grandchildren. My Dad made wood toys with my two boys when they were young. Sometimes they made swords to battle with. Some days they came home with a boat to play with in the bathtub.
I sure miss him, love you Dad!💋💕
Thanks for sharing! Sounds like you had an awesome dad!
Would be cool if you could figure out how to make bee boxes look like your bird houses
Absolutely incredible!
Amazing and cool..i always wanted to build a birdhouse and put it out..fun..
If you ask me, this type of hobby is for the birds
Love this. Thank you
You are most welcome! Glad you enjoyed it! Cheers- Guy
@@CoolestThing I have successfully raised a Crow, many Doves (my crow ate a few) Ducks and Geese of many variety, and travel sparrows - in South Africa. All were free during the day, but at night we closed their cage (huge Avery) because of bloody cats. Most went on to meet mates and become wild. I searched for so long to find lovely bird houses and then found your video. Thank you so very much for introducing this gentlemen. I'm building all sorts of housing inspired by this video. God bless you kind Sir
Iv seen them in huge sizes when I was a kid in the 90s from some that were even made before I was born. Thays cool though on the builds you did much respect and care I see for the birds:)
Hey John ...I wish I could give you more than one "like"....I have built a few small ones...just simple stuff ...yours indicate some great talent not just with your hands, but imagining the design of these is a job in itself...thank you for showing us your art work...and for providing shelter for our feathered friends
Thank you for your kind words! We filmed with John a couples months ago and I will pass on your message! Cheers- Guy (producer, Coolest Thing)
These are amazing ! I wonder how you keep the individual bird ‘apartments’ in them clean over the years. Also, how to keep the rooftop pools full of clean water so they don’t get stagnant and slimy like a regular birdbath would do. I’d love to have one of his medium sized ones.
Beautiful!😍🐦
This is inspiring
John is awesome! Thanks for watching! Cheers- Guy
Roadtrip😂 I love these and making birdhouses ❤
I want to live in one of those!
Lol! Same, I need to lose a couple of lbs first though!
44 rooms was my biggest birdhouse
I made an 8 story birdhouse a few months ago and wow..
Now I have a bird army. Worth it
Awesome!!
It must be so nice for birds to not deal with inflation
I love this!!
Need a camera in those houses to see the birds living it up!! Lol
This guy is amazing! Wow!
Really nice guy as well! Thanks for watching!!
Thank you James!
@@cranbrook2Keep being you! You are such an inspiration! :)
need more birds to hear of this airbb mansions ❤❤
Love it
Thank you!
The man 🐦⬛
those are great!
Everything’s a bird house if you’re brave enough
this is my type of show
Thank you!!
So wonderful to see you make these beautiful creations for our magnificent feathery friends! Thank you John!
I'm curious, do certain species have their preferences when it comes to choosing a house type or size? Do species stick together or can different species like happily in neighbouring rooms in the same house?
I do have compassion for your health condition. If I may offer you some of my thoughts on the matter in the hope they might resonate with you and perhaps reduce your suffering to some degree...
To put it simply, the human body has two main plumbing systems. The blood is the kitchen and delivers (pipes) fuel to our cells using the heart as a pump. The lymphatic system is the body's sewer system but isn't pressurized like the blood, it relies on the body's motion to move the fluid filled superhighway (lipid/fat based, so flows more easily when warm) of awesome specialized cells that deal with clean-up duties and invaders (your immune system) cell waste is then sent to the filtering and elimination organs.
Your lymphatic system is likely very backed up and therefore overly acidic (most cell waste is acidic in nature), as a result your body has systemic inflammation or what some white coats like to label 'fm'. With the SAD (Standard American Diet) this is a very common but COMPLETELY REVERSIBLE situation today with nothing but some manageable diet and lifestyle changes (gulp!). No pill popping necessary. Time to call the plumbers in!
Alkalize your diet as much as possible. Just research acidic and alkaline foods and eat more of the alkaline variety whilst dropping as much of the acidic foods you can. Fruits, fruit and more fruit! Most of what we eat is acid-ash based so this change can be a hurdle for some. Excess ENERGY in a HYDRATED, ALKALINE environment and the body can and WILL heal ANYTHING.
Some people have mentioned carnivore/keto and yes this can help in the short term due to the extra fat intake that helps quench the acidity of the lymphatic system and can beef up the fat flowing along those highways! Long term carnivores can develop other issues and complications so be very mindful of that going forward. If you're just adding fat to the system but not eliminating the waste efficiently that can lead to issues. Protein is also acidic in nature so reducing your protein intake (from all sources) can offer relief from inflammation. Fun fact - we eat WAY more protein than our bodies can effectively process and make use of, so cut out some of that burden. Besides our bodies MAKE proteins from the amino acids found in fruit for example. We have to break down animal protein FIRST before we can do anything with it.
Balance is the key. Being congruent with your beliefs about what is good for you to eat and eating those things is also key (we all deep down know what we SHOULD be eating instead of what we DO eat!) so just HONOUR that inner knowing really! Be HONEST with yourself!
Also look up lymphatic drainage exercises here on youtube and make them part of your daily routine. Take warm baths with Epsom salts regularly (and take saunas if possible) to warm up those fat-filled fluid superhighways and get those lanes fast-flowing again. Simply bouncing on a rebounder (mini trampoline) can do wonders to kick start that lymphatic system. Keep moving that body in whatever way excites you! One more thing, sometimes rather than distract ourselves from the pain and plough on with gritted teeth through life. It pays to stop and look the pain in the face and ask it WHAT it is trying to bring to your attention. Pain doesn't happen TO us, it happens FOR us!There is ALWAYS a reason why it SERVES us to have the pain.
ENERGY goes where ATTENTION flows, pain is bringing your attention to a part of your body that needs that energy!! Granted this can be overwhelming when your condition is systemic (everywhere) in the body and the pain is all over!
Look up Robert Morse ND for a REAL insight into how to get your body healing naturally through food and diet.
The Encyclopedia of Ailments and Diseases by Jacques Martel is a wonderful book to have around too.
I wish you a swift, fun and rewarding journey back to full and vibrant health John. Blessings.
🙏
Never go wrong building a bird house or planting a tree.
I planted lots of trees with berries on them for the birds.
I wish I was a bird... living good and free
super cool 🐥🐦🏡🏰
Make one about 4x bigger so I can live in it, thanks!
Here in North Carolina the squirrels would have a field day with these birdhouses. We have to reinforce the entrance holes with large galvanized washers to stop them from chewing their way in. I have seen the damage to my own houses from them. If they cannot get in that way they are very content to just gnaw off the perches and also the overhang or anything else in their path.
The houses are extraordinary, no doubt but the squirrels are an issue that has to be considered.
Perhaps his are reinforced or there are less or no squirres where these houses are installed.
that is cool!!!
I love these videos
Thank you!! Happy to hear it! More coming soon !
ive got fibro and this gives me some hope
I was gonna say how the hell can he do that. Then he says oh I was a carpenter for 20+ years…… got it
These are as big as the stone Cat Catsle I built for my cats.
Another great video! Thank you!
Glad you liked! More videos coming soon!
Awesome
I thought this was about a Psychiatric wards 🤣
I’m sending my mourning dove 🕊️ Brooklyn friends your way! They owe me back rent for all the bird feeders they broke by fighting 😩
That’s pretty cool and I am glad that I have subscribed to you and you should visit Allen Pan , Collin Furze and kids invent things
Thanks! Love those pages!
Love them, but the issue that I see having so much nest in the same area, is that most bird would have to compete for food with all their neighbors. Which would be crazy.
I can not imagine these houses staying at higher than 10% of capacity, or maybe birds move out anyway but later they fund out that there is no much food, unless that guy spend a lot on bird food.
i want a bird mansion
You could have got the hose out and filled the pools... would have looked a lot cooler.
He can build them as hamster homes if he ever taps out the bird market.
Lol, true. But I can’t imagine how much hamster poop you’d need to clean out of one of those. 😂
Cool!
Does he have his own CZcams channel?
He does not, he does have a Facebook page which I’ve linked in description 👍
How do you keep them clean on the inside?
The birds that live in them stay all year round . They fill the room solid except the center . They also refresh the center nesting every time they have babies . I only empty them every 8 - 10 years. All the rooms and floors are removable from the bottom of the house.
@@cranbrook2 LOVE THOSE!!! Thanks for doing that for them. I love birds.
that's surprisingly cheap for what goes into it
He is from Toronou
I will convert my entire 7200 sqr ft home to a birdhouse to defeat this man.
As a Cub Scout leader in rural AR, a leader wanted little boys to build A HUGE BIRDHOUSE FOR MARTINS. I disagreed..but don’t remember what was done. Her son built a fire in middle of living room. Hmm.
Good game🎉🎉🎉
Why are the holes not bigger to accommodate bigger birds ??
If i make the holes any bigger the starlings and squirrels will move in . I get sparrows , wrens and chickadees living in them
@@cranbrook2 is there no way to invite bigger birds while kicking out squirrels? Or I suppose maybe there are houses designed per animal?
I wonder what birds have moved in?
I get wrens , sparrows and chickadees living in them.
Thank you for responding. The houses are beautiful.
@@cranbrook2That is a bit of a strange wording considering birds don't _live_ in houses/nesting boxes, they only have their chicks in them once or twice a year.
💚
Why was there not a lot of birds around the houses….
I have all kinds of videos of the birds in their houses , mating on them and making nest . The birds wont stick around when there are people near them or a drone flying around them.
imagine what his car(s) look like.
Hello from Detroit How can I buy a small bird house PLEASE
You can go his Facebook page and contact him if you like. I’ve linked it in the description!
Do birds live in your houses?
Yes! I have all kinds of videos of them nesting in them and making their nest.
No pictures or much mention of the birds and if they use the houses...😢
The main priority of those objects is to look pretty and give the man a hobby; I think being actual good accommodation for animals or learning/educating about the birds and what they actually need was not his top priority.
😎😎😎
He should make a replica white house and see if they'll put it at the white house... lol. ..
attack pigeons coming back into style
Crazy i didnt see a single bird in 1 once
Bad bear 31
does he clean them out sometimes? or what is the maintenance like?
John, love what you do, I’m inspired. I hope your getting this message, I wanted to encourage you to look into carnivore diet, you can rid yourself of the fibromyalgia. Lots info on CZcams, please seriously consider it!
Thank you i will certainly check it out.
I though these where fancy ass beehives at first
Title: "Worlds largest birdhouses"
I'm curious how the heck you thought that?
bro is an "only fans realtor" for birds. make that money i guess
@5:18 OMG that's cat torture! They must be saying ... It's you bird flock who should be in this cage, not me .... when I get out of here it's curtains for you!
It`s funny how some people think they always know what they are talking about. First off i live right next to a busy hwy , I have scraped several of of my neighbors cats and dogs off the road because they thought it was a good idea to let them run free. There are several stray cats running around already killing everything in sight .My cats have 400 square feet to run around in during the summer I also take them in the house all the time to play with the dog. There are all kinds of foxes around here killing peoples pets all the time. My cats are very happy and super friendly , better than being a pancake on the road or dinner for a hungry fox. The birds and chipmunks are also happy that the cats arent trying to kill them.
