One thing I would add is to use room tempurature eggs so the set quickly before browning (assuming a non-countryside french omelette)

So is the issue cold butter from the fridge or using non-clarified butter? Two different products and cooking behaviours there since the milk fats have been removed from the clarified butter.

You're doing it all wrong by cracking the egg on the lip of the bowl, allowing any potential salmonella on the outside of the shell to contaminate the rest of the egg.

i think she pretty much killed it, the only point i'd make is french omelets are supposed to have no browning

Don’t salt until the eggs are set. You always know when someone says you’re doing something wrong, they are going to do the same thing but worse.
This is no exception sadly including the disastrous plating.
Smash and dash though to be fair.

Ok why are you CHOW editing like this and not the original way since 2010, season 2 sucked ass, season 3 isn’t any better, why did you bother and who’s really the runner of the channel? Also what happened to the original kitchen used from 2008-2010 on the show? Why aren’t you using the original opening and background music since 2012? Why haven’t you went back to using the 40fps since 2009? Why haven’t you went back to showing the wrong way and the right way since 2010? Why don’t isn’t the guest’s name showing on the bottom left anymore not sliding to the chow logo on the bottom right since 2012? Seriously what’s going on here?
