I think I just realised what the problem with the music is....
I've had the same issue over and over again when I was setting the ambiance for D&D games with (neo)classical music, the damn bastards just can't keep a steady volume!
So one moment I'd have to crank it up just to be able to hear it only to all be deafened when the orchestra picked up again. This got me some angry looks once or twice because it disturbed the roleplay.
So far the music has often been just there enough to set a nice ambiance, only to drop away again for a bit, no crazy peaks though so that's good =)
I don't really know how one might fix this problem unless Mrs. B has experience as a sound engineer :')

You are one powerful narrator! I never were much for SMs or CSMs, but I am really thinking about starting a Night Lords army because of you!
His original video on them was a huge influence on my current obsession with them for sure! I'm so glad he took my request to do a video on my favorite units!
You should track down the Nigh Lords audiobook triology that focuses on Talos. It's soooo good.
That quiet insanity you put into the character is perfectly terrifying. It highlights an unignorable part of the story by showing, how "normal" is a viewpoint, not a universal concept. I can't tell you, how much I enjoy this caracter, talking about horrors like a sane person would talk about a trip to the bakery.

@@baldermort I thought it was great, your custom lore characters are the best. I remember when I listened to your first night lord video I got a pit in my stomach. Which is great since like Genesteelers, it’s very easy to get disconnected from the true horror of the setting. So it’s refreshing to get back to the meat and bones of the setting as some might say. It just sucks that Night lords, Alpha legion, etc don’t really have models like Death Guard, other wise we see more on the table. I personally would run Alpha Legion myself.

@@baldermort it’s funny you mention that because I was literally debating doing that yesterday. All the recent forge world shenanigans I thought it be smart maybe to jump on it stuff before it disappears.

I love the terror-inducing aura of these units! Especially the warp talons and their predatory bestial frenzy. I also love the thought that they could be worshipping the Night Haunter. A well-suited entry for a day so close to Halloween.

First chaos kit i ever bought, i just love those power claws. Like talons on a bird of prey.
I didn’t even have a chaps army and had to have a unit of Talons. Had to. Even though I couldn’t afford my main army to expand. I made them loved them, then gave them to someone starting a chaos army down the club. I had to let them be played with. And I got to see them every now and again. But now? Those chaos armies are looking better with each new release. And yet the talons still look good even compared. Great kit. Simply great.

@@baldermort I thank you for your kind wishes but my injury is something I'm not likely to get over. I'm just a humble steel erector ( I build commercial and industrial steel buildings) and have been for over 20 years. Last year I got a nasty cut which became severely infected, the surgeons had to remove about 1/2 of my forearm on my dominant arm, this combined with a 30' fall I had onto concrete back in 98 has pretty much disabled me , but hey I can still pick up a paint brush and at least make my beloved models table ready 👍🙂.
Your videos and this hobby has kept me sane through everything , I can never repay you for the entertainment and education you have bestowed on me! So if by chance you ever get discouraged please think about how many lives you have touched and improved by your hard work my friend!

I love this growing narrative of your nightlords and orcs. A wonderful series of narratives you give us.
Great video. Raptors are some of the scariest Chaos forces to face if you are a Guardsmen or mere human. It's like being hunted by a large cat that can shot you, has armor like a vehicle, is faster then you by so much its not funny. And they are always watching you even though you don't know they are there. Unless they want you too and that's even worse.
These chaos episodes make me want to play my chaos warband every time I hear it even if they're not good

I recall when I was a kid and had just began playing this game here with the cool intro of Space Orcs battling guys in huge ass armor, I did quickly see there was some kind of connection between the ''good guys'' Space Marines and these crazy Chaos guys, but when I saw the mutated-resemblance between the Assault Marines and Raptors, especially their fused jumpkits and literal talon'd feet, right there I understood there was something more with Chaos..
Uncle Baldey, would you please consider making a video on Warsmith Barabas Dantioch? He is one of my favorite characters in the setting and I would love more people to become introduced to him through you're weighty narrative style. Great content as always.

Well 40k is kind of based on Dune and the author of Dune said that his novel is a stpry on how you should be careful when it comes to personailities like the ones of the Emperor.
Meaning charismatic and smart people may only seem so or may not be what you think they are.
Some talked about the fact that some of these groups worship a secret God.
It would be cool if that God was Malal.

Even tho it would have been cool, it's still highly unlikely that they worship Malal. i think it is more likely that they either worship the Nighthunter/Konrad Curze himself, or a rogue GreaterDaemon instead.
@@R0230R all fun with one exception. There are no rogue daemon princes. Not trying to rain on your parade, it’s just a fact in the setting. The princes are part of the entity they serve. No less than your finger. I’ll explain in depth one day.

Its kind of like lycanthropy for astarties. It starts with an urge a need then slowly u start to like this urge feel it want it love it to the point u can’t be without it and then u are lost to the warp your humanity slips and the warp Tallon emerges as a wolf to the moon u howl for it is all you can do
