The Warning are completely fan funded via touring, merch and Patreon. Their last album was funded via Kickstarter. The band took to social media, and asked for our help. They needed $20,000 to record it, they raised that in 24 hours. By the end of the campaign, $93,000 was raised (from 900 different contributors). They have a growing, loyal and somewhat demented fan base 😜. We are their crazy uncles, but do not let us scare you off, this band is the best thing to happen to rock music in decades! 🤘🏻
Queen of the Murder Scene is a concept album which tells the story of a disturbed young woman's inner journey from desire to obsession to murder to self-loathing to suicide. Dust to Dust is a prologue. The Spanish section is that of a preacher saying that you can receive salvation but it is something that you must work for. The lyrics have deeply religious undertones - life is short and unpredictable (“How quickly things can unfold”); there is an afterlife (“and we shall start again” and “the truth found in death”); we should distrust false prophets (“where are you going? Don’t trust all that you hear”); and judgement (“I don’t seek right or wrong”).
And the last song The End (Stars Always Seem To Fade) is such a killer and a great end to the album. In the live version when Dany does the solo is stunning.

This band is thunderous live. They move some serious air! Paulina is a titan on her kit, and only sings occasional songs. Dani is the main singer/guitarist. They are sisters btw. This song was written by the bass player, Alejandra. Alejandra is an official Spector artist. They have two full albums, and an EP to pull songs from. There is not a stinker that they have written. The girls compose all their own music, and are world class lyricists. They have been offered several record deals, but have chosen to remain independent, because the record companies tried to change what they played, and how they looked. The Warning is a growing force in the Mexican rock community, and have played in the biggest festivals in Mexico, and throughout Latin America. They have opened for Def Leppard twice, the Killers and this February will open for Stryper. I have seen them at the Whisky a GoGo in LA, where they performed a two hour show of all originals (kick ass show). They are returning to the Whisky in January, and are playing back to back nights there (one of the shows is already sold out). They are also playing in NYC next month, same story, 2 shows the first of which sold out in 5 days.....and they have never played NYC before! Thanks for the reaction. Your comments are on point. These girls do not have a bad song and I am not kidding. A number of other reactors went down the rabbit hole and became huge fans themselves. They are so young, yet so talented! Now that you have started with their second album, which is a concept album, I recommend you continue your journey with the second song of the album which is Crimson Queen, then follow with Ugh (all at Lunario CDMX - same concert than the one you watched for Dust to Dust). By the way, Daniela, the guitarist, is the lead singer. However, Paulina (the drummer) lead sings a number of songs. The youngest one, Alejandra is also occasionally lead singing. Please, please give them a fair shot. They are the best that happen to rock since the 70s and 80s.
Great reaction. You guys really hit the nail on the head with everything you said. And if you do want to see dear Paulina out from behind the drum kit then please let me recommend "Black Holes". Every time I watch Pau perform it I end up with tears rolling down my cheeks.
What's impressive is that at the time of that show, they had already 1 EP & 2 LPs under their belt with not a stinker song in the bunch and the guitarist/main vocals Daniela(Dany) was around 18 years old, the drummer/main vocals Paulina(Pau) was around 16 and the bassist/backup vocals Alejandra(Ale) was only 13.
The Warning started making music very young Paulina and Alejandra at 3 and Dany 5, all learning classical piano. They got the video game Rock Band and fell in love with the feeling of performing on other instruments. Their father asked if they want to learn another instrument and the girls jumped at the opportunity and gravitated to the instruments they played in Rock Band. They had been uploading their musical journey to CZcams for their family to see and had wanted to try and play music together as a band around 2013 and rehearsed for a small performance for their school xmas show. Well They loved the experience so much they began learning and playing cover songs of hard rock and metal bands, One song in particular shot them into the limelight. That song, "Enter Sandman" by Metallica had gone viral (currently over 19000000 views) and had gotten the attention of Metallica, Dee Snyder and The Ellen Show!. Ellen Degeneres invited the band to play live on her show, to which they accepted and played Crazy Train by Ozzy Osbourne, after the performance Ellen and Target awarded the sisters $10000 each to attend Berklee School of Music in Boston. After completing Berklee The Warning wrote, composed and recorded an EP called Escape the Mind in 2015 to experience that whole process and to determine what type of music they liked to make... Thankfully they chose Rock/Hard Rock! They performed a number of small and large shows afterward and began writing and composing new material for their first full length album XXI Century Blood in 2017. They supported this album with some very high profile gigs like opening for Def Leppard and separately The Killers for two shows each in Mexico. Also following other large rock bands in a couple music festivals. In 2018 they wrote and recorded Queen of the Murder Scene and released it in November of that year and have toured Mexico and South American venues. In June of 2019 they released a single, Narcisista. A scathing rebuke of their Mexican critics that had accused the of being "Malinchista" a Mexican term used to call out cultural traitors, because the group has only recorded English language songs. Well this song is in Spanish and it is full of attitude and angst fired toward those critics. Every song from this show is an absolute banger! This was the first time playing their second album "Queen of the Murder Scene" live and in its entirety. It is a concept album with a whole storyline. Dany (Daniela) the guitar player is actually the lead singer, and Pau (Paulina) the drummer also sings lead, as in this one. Ale (Alejandra) the bassist is starting to take on singing lead at times. I listened to their cover of enter sandman in 2014 and since I listened their original music almost three years ago I have been a big fan of them. I was lucky enough to see them play live last November 23 and 24 in Santa Fe and Rosario here in Argentina and I also met them personally and I talked with them. They are not only incredible musicians but also great people. They will tour the US next March and April. If you have the opportunity of see them live do it. You will not regret it, the only regret maybe could be not going to more than one of their concerts. As we the fans say "You have been warned"
Welcome to the Warning Army! While Pau does sing on some songs, generally the lead guitar player sings lead on most of the songs (Dany) and occasionally Ale (Bass) will sing lead. They have great variety in their songs, try any other song from that same concert.

Heh heh, welcome to the wonderful world of The Warning!😁 Seems like anyone new to the band always notices Paulina's intensity on the drums right off.. and just as well, because she also writes a lot of the lyrics. They are: Daniela 19, on guitar and vocals, Paulina 17, on drums, piano and vocals, and Alejandra (soon to be 15), on bass, piano, and backup vocals. The Villarreal sisters are from Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, MX., and have been playing since a very young age. They first got noticed on CZcams when their little home studio video of 'Enter Sandman', went viral with 15 million views, and they have been growing ever since. They are independent and fan-funded because they didn't want to get dragged into the commercial music industry, and basically be forced to play like 2000 other 'pop' stars. They're hard rockers at heart, and intend to stay that way.🤘😍🤘 All of their albums so far have been in English, except for *ONE* song (Narcisista), and hilariously, it was directed at the hardline Mexicans that think they should only write and play in Spanish and not English, like the majority of rock music (no matter what country it comes from). At any rate, it goes to show that they are passionate about doing things the way that works for them, and it has gained them a lot of respect for sticking to their vision for what they want to become. They just recently got their performance visas for the U.S. and will be at the Mercury Lounge in NYC on Dec. 3rd, and at The Whisky in L.A. for the 15th and 16th of January. I don't know for sure if there's other gigs planned between those dates, but it seems logical that there will be. You guys really need to look into more of this album (Queen of the Murder Scene), and the rest of The Warning's offerings. You won't regret it, if you like the classic rock sound with a modern twist! You should really check out more of their songs. They're the real deal. I promise. Dull Knives, Sinister Smiles, Queen of the Murder Scene are all great candidates from the same show. Or Narcisista, it's their one song in Spanish which the drummer, Paulina sings also. The lead guitarist, older sister, Daniela sings lead in most songs. That was their manager that was in stage with them. Ale, the youngest is the bassist.
Playing the drums and singing is extremely difficult. The End (Stars Always Seem To Fade) is the epic ending of the album Queen of the Murder Scene and is one you should watch. Epic guitar solo.

I love this band. The first time I saw them was their "Enter Sandman" cover Ale's bass was as long and she was tall. Fast forward about 3 years and I think was is the tallest sister. One of my favorites is still "Survive" one of their early songs. This was the first song of the Queen of the Murder Scene album. I know you have a backlog of reactions to do but if you liked this one you might want to consider going thru the album in order, as it is a concept album so each song tells part of the story. In addition to their regular instruments all three play the piano/keyboards. They were partly inspired by the Rock Band video game to form a serious band and Free Falling from their debut EP was put into Rock Band 4, and "Survive" was on one of the expansion song list.

Paulina (Drums), Ale (Pronounced Ah Lee), and Dani do take turns singing songs. The lead singer is the older sister Dani, but she gets a break on a few songs by her sister Pau. Ale is being groomed to perform singing duties as well. As much energy as they put into their live shows, the singing breaks are necessary. They just announced their 2020 North America Tour. Tickets are going fast. Check out their other videos like Narcisista. They have received praised from some of today's best rock musicians like Kirk Hammett.
Spot on analysis and observations gents! Had me a little worried at the beginning with some of the meandering digressions / lack of background research on the band, but you more than made up for it with your commentary about the music. These three sisters are on a bit of a mission to revive the soul of rock n' roll with their bass-booming, rhythm-rich, riff-centric brand of melodic rock and neo-glam metal (i.e. catchy hooks, harmony-laced choruses and vocals). They grew up listening to lots of classic hard rock, pop rock and even some metal, as well as grunge and early 2000's punk-pop -- major influences include Queen, Crue, GnR, Pink Floyd, Foo, Muse, My Chemical Romance, to name just a few -- and as you explore their catalog of offerings you start to see a wide range of influences bleeding into their music, yet at the same time it all seems fresh and vibrant. Maybe it's their youthful exuberance mixed with the rare maturity and seriousness of their lyrics that make the passion for what they are doing seem that much more evident and genuine. I figured y'all would like them a lot, but you have barely scratched the surface. I look forward to you checking out more. If you want something more pop-rock, go with XXI Century Blood, the title track off their first full album, for which there is a very well done professional music video. However, if you lean more towards the hard rock end of the spectrum, I highly recommend the title track off their second record, a full concept rock novel, Queen of the Murder Scene from the same live show at the Lunario Auditorio in Mexico City, which happened to be the same night they performed the second half of QOTMS for the first time in front of an audience...and they freakin' "korosu'ed" it!! They are an excellent band, very talented, greatest in the world is a bit of a stretch. They have a long way to go but are young and plenty of time to get there.

You've opened a can of worms now. This album is from another world. To think that these three sisters write their own lyrics, write their own music, play their own instruments, are involved in the production, and have final say on every aspect of their music. It still blows my mind. If you play this song for 10 people, you are likely to hear 10 different "Song reminds me of (insert band here). Daniela (guitar) does most of the vocals, but Paulina sings lead on a few songs. Alejandra has sung lead on a few songs live, but those performances are few and far between, and she's glad to let her sisters take the lead. They all three have fantastic voices though. Queen of the Murder Scene is their 2nd full album. It happens to be a concept album that tells a pretty disturbing story. It goes inside the mind of a woman as she travels through longing, obsession, and eventually full psychosis. You can hear the progression in Daniela's voice. The range they exhibit on this album alone is amazing. I say there are songs that would fit on a Fleetwood Mac album, to The Ramones and on to Megadeth. A little bit of everything on this album sonically. The album is structured like a book, and they released it that way. They released the prologue, then a couple of weeks later, Chapter 1, then a couple of weeks later Chapter 2, and so on. They released Chapter 4 the day of this Lunario show last year. Most of the people in the crowd heard the last 3 songs for the first time ever on that night. The Warning are completely fan funded via touring, merch and Patreon. Their last album was funded via Kickstarter. The band took to social media, and asked for our help. They needed $20,000 to record it, they raised that in 24 hours. By the end of the campaign, $93,000 was raised (from 900 different contributors). They have a growing, loyal and somewhat demented fan base 😜. We are their crazy uncles, but do not let us scare you off, this band is the best thing to happen to rock music in decades! 🤘🏻

Queen of the Murder Scene is a concept album which tells the story of a disturbed young woman's inner journey from desire to obsession to murder to self-loathing to suicide. Dust to Dust is a prologue. The Spanish section is that of a preacher saying that you can receive salvation but it is something that you must work for. The lyrics have deeply religious undertones - life is short and unpredictable (“How quickly things can unfold”); there is an afterlife (“and we shall start again” and “the truth found in death”); we should distrust false prophets (“where are you going? Don’t trust all that you hear”); and judgement (“I don’t seek right or wrong”).
And the last song The End (Stars Always Seem To Fade) is such a killer and a great end to the album. In the live version when Dany does the solo is stunning.

This band is thunderous live. They move some serious air! Paulina is a titan on her kit, and only sings occasional songs. Dani is the main singer/guitarist. They are sisters btw. This song was written by the bass player, Alejandra. Alejandra is an official Spector artist. They have two full albums, and an EP to pull songs from. There is not a stinker that they have written. The girls compose all their own music, and are world class lyricists. They have been offered several record deals, but have chosen to remain independent, because the record companies tried to change what they played, and how they looked.
The Warning is a growing force in the Mexican rock community, and have played in the biggest festivals in Mexico, and throughout Latin America. They have opened for Def Leppard twice, the Killers and this February will open for Stryper. I have seen them at the Whisky a GoGo in LA, where they performed a two hour show of all originals (kick ass show). They are returning to the Whisky in January, and are playing back to back nights there (one of the shows is already sold out). They are also playing in NYC next month, same story, 2 shows the first of which sold out in 5 days.....and they have never played NYC before!

The Warning is the greatest band ever!! They have 2 full CDs and 1lp. Plus a solo song out called Narcisista about 32 songs they wrote and produced themselves!

Thanks for the reaction. Your comments are on point. These girls do not have a bad song and I am not kidding. A number of other reactors went down the rabbit hole and became huge fans themselves. They are so young, yet so talented! Now that you have started with their second album, which is a concept album, I recommend you continue your journey with the second song of the album which is Crimson Queen, then follow with Ugh (all at Lunario CDMX - same concert than the one you watched for Dust to Dust). By the way, Daniela, the guitarist, is the lead singer. However, Paulina (the drummer) lead sings a number of songs. The youngest one, Alejandra is also occasionally lead singing. Please, please give them a fair shot. They are the best that happen to rock since the 70s and 80s.

Every time I watch Pau perform it I end up with tears rolling down my cheeks.
What's impressive is that at the time of that show, they had already 1 EP & 2 LPs under their belt with not a stinker song in the bunch and the guitarist/main vocals Daniela(Dany) was around 18 years old, the drummer/main vocals Paulina(Pau) was around 16 and the bassist/backup vocals Alejandra(Ale) was only 13.

The Warning started making music very young Paulina and Alejandra at 3 and Dany 5, all learning classical piano. They got the video game Rock Band and fell in love with the feeling of performing on other instruments. Their father asked if they want to learn another instrument and the girls jumped at the opportunity and gravitated to the instruments they played in Rock Band.
They had been uploading their musical journey to CZcams for their family to see and had wanted to try and play music together as a band around 2013 and rehearsed for a small performance for their school xmas show. Well They loved the experience so much they began learning and playing cover songs of hard rock and metal bands, One song in particular shot them into the limelight. That song, "Enter Sandman" by Metallica had gone viral (currently over 19000000 views) and had gotten the attention of Metallica, Dee Snyder and The Ellen Show!. Ellen Degeneres invited the band to play live on her show, to which they accepted and played Crazy Train by Ozzy Osbourne, after the performance Ellen and Target awarded the sisters $10000 each to attend Berklee School of Music in Boston.
After completing Berklee The Warning wrote, composed and recorded an EP called Escape the Mind in 2015 to experience that whole process and to determine what type of music they liked to make... Thankfully they chose Rock/Hard Rock! They performed a number of small and large shows afterward and began writing and composing new material for their first full length album XXI Century Blood in 2017. They supported this album with some very high profile gigs like opening for Def Leppard and separately The Killers for two shows each in Mexico. Also following other large rock bands in a couple music festivals. In 2018 they wrote and recorded Queen of the Murder Scene and released it in November of that year and have toured Mexico and South American venues.
In June of 2019 they released a single, Narcisista. A scathing rebuke of their Mexican critics that had accused the of being "Malinchista" a Mexican term used to call out cultural traitors, because the group has only recorded English language songs. Well this song is in Spanish and it is full of attitude and angst fired toward those critics. The Warning is totally fan funded through Patreon, CZcams and crowdfunding platforms like GoFundMe and Kickstarter. They have turned down offers from record labels and talent shows like American Idol because they did not want to lose their control of their music, image and wanted to focus on learning. In fact in one interview with a record label they were asked if they would rather play to 12 people or 12000. Paulina piped up and said The Warning would rather play in front of 12 if it meant they would keep their integrity and could play the music they want to play, how they want to play... That is the most Rock n Roll quote ever!

Every song from this show is an absolute banger! This was the first time playing their second album "Queen of the Murder Scene" live and in its entirety. It is a concept album with a whole storyline. Dany (Daniela) the guitar player is actually the lead singer, and Pau (Paulina) the drummer also sings lead, as in this one. Ale (Alejandra) the bassist is starting to take on singing lead at times. I listened to their cover of enter sandman in 2014 and since I listened their original music almost three years ago I have been a big fan of them. I was lucky enough to see them play live last November 23 and 24 in Santa Fe and Rosario here in Argentina and I also met them personally and I talked with them. They are not only incredible musicians but also great people. They will tour the US next March and April. If you have the opportunity of see them live do it. You will not regret it, the only regret maybe could be not going to more than one of their concerts. As we the fans say "You have been warned"

Welcome to the Warning Army! While Pau does sing on some songs, generally the lead guitar player sings lead on most of the songs (Dany) and occasionally Ale (Bass) will sing lead. They have great variety in their songs, try any other song from that same concert.

Heh heh, welcome to the wonderful world of The Warning!😁 Seems like anyone new to the band always notices Paulina's intensity on the drums right off.. and just as well, because she also writes a lot of the lyrics. They are: Daniela 19, on guitar and vocals, Paulina 17, on drums, piano and vocals, and Alejandra (soon to be 15), on bass, piano, and backup vocals. All of their albums so far have been in English, except for *ONE* song (Narcisista), and hilariously, it was directed at the hardline Mexicans that think they should only write and play in Spanish and not English, like the majority of rock music (no matter what country it comes from). At any rate, it goes to show that they are passionate about doing things the way that works for them, and it has gained them a lot of respect for sticking to their vision for what they want to become. They just recently got their performance visas for the U.S. and will be at the Mercury Lounge in NYC on Dec. 3rd, and at The Whisky in L.A. for the 15th and 16th of January. I don't know for sure if there's other gigs planned between those dates, but it seems logical that there will be. You guys really need to look into more of this album (Queen of the Murder Scene), and the rest of The Warning's offerings. You won't regret it, if you like the classic rock sound with a modern twist! I've been in and out of bands for the last 40+ years, and retired now, but these gals are the best thing to hit the rock scene in at least, the last 30 years! 🤘😎🤘

You should really check out more of their songs. They're the real deal. I promise. Dull Knives, Sinister Smiles, Queen of the Murder Scene are all great candidates from the same show. Or Narcisista, it's their one song in Spanish which the drummer, Paulina sings also. The lead guitarist, older sister, Daniela sings lead in most songs. I love this band. The first time I saw them was their "Enter Sandman" cover Ale's bass was as long and she was tall. Fast forward about 3 years and I think was is the tallest sister. One of my favorites is still "Survive" one of their early songs. This was the first song of the Queen of the Murder Scene album. I know you have a backlog of reactions to do but if you liked this one you might want to consider going thru the album in order, as it is a concept album so each song tells part of the story. In addition to their regular instruments all three play the piano/keyboards. They were partly inspired by the Rock Band video game to form a serious band and Free Falling from their debut EP was put into Rock Band 4, and "Survive" was on one of the expansion song list.

Paulina (Drums), Ale (Pronounced Ah Lee), and Dani do take turns singing songs. The lead singer is the older sister Dani, but she gets a break on a few songs by her sister Pau. Ale is being groomed to perform singing duties as well. As much energy as they put into their live shows, the singing breaks are necessary. They just announced their 2020 North America Tour. Tickets are going fast. Check out their other videos like Narcisista. They have received praised from some of today's best rock musicians like Kirk Hammett.
Spot on analysis and observations gents! Had me a little worried at the beginning with some of the meandering digressions / lack of background research on the band, but you more than made up for it with your commentary about the music. These three sisters are on a bit of a mission to revive the soul of rock n' roll with their bass-booming, rhythm-rich, riff-centric brand of melodic rock and neo-glam metal (i.e. catchy hooks, harmony-laced choruses and vocals).
They grew up listening to lots of classic hard rock, pop rock and even some metal, as well as grunge and early 2000's punk-pop -- major influences include Queen, Crue, GnR, Pink Floyd, Foo, Muse, My Chemical Romance, to name just a few -- and as you explore their catalog of offerings you start to see a wide range of influences bleeding into their music, yet at the same time it all seems fresh and vibrant.
Maybe it's their youthful exuberance mixed with the rare maturity and seriousness of their lyrics that make the passion for what they are doing seem that much more evident and genuine. I figured y'all would like them a lot, but you have barely scratched the surface. I look forward to you checking out more. If you want something more pop-rock, go with XXI Century Blood, the title track off their first full album, for which there is a very well done professional music video.
However, if you lean more towards the hard rock end of the spectrum, I highly recommend the title track off their second record, a full concept rock novel, Queen of the Murder Scene from the same live show at the Lunario Auditorio in Mexico City, which happened to be the same night they performed the second half of QOTMS for the first time in front of an audience...and they freakin' "korosu'ed" it!! You've opened a can of worms now. This album is from another world. To think that these three sisters write their own lyrics, write their own music, play their own instruments, are involved in the production, and have final say on every aspect of their music. It still blows my mind. If you play this song for 10 people, you are likely to hear 10 different "Song reminds me of (insert band here).
Daniela (guitar) does most of the vocals, but Paulina sings lead on a few songs. Alejandra has sung lead on a few songs live, but those performances are few and far between, and she's glad to let her sisters take the lead. They all three have fantastic voices though.
Queen of the Murder Scene is their 2nd full album. It happens to be a concept album that tells a pretty disturbing story. It goes inside the mind of a woman as she travels through longing, obsession, and eventually full psychosis. You can hear the progression in Daniela's voice. The range they exhibit on this album alone is amazing. I say there are songs that would fit on a Fleetwood Mac album, to The Ramones and on to Megadeth. A little bit of everything on this album sonically.
The album is structured like a book, and they released it that way.
They released the prologue, then a couple of weeks later, Chapter 1, then a couple of weeks later Chapter 2, and so on. They released Chapter 4 the day of this Lunario show last year. Most of the people in the crowd heard the last 3 songs for the first time ever on that night.

My recommendation, for your optimum enjoyment, would be to listen to it that way. Listen to chapter 1 as a group, and pay attention to the story and the sound of Dany's voice as she goes through. Then chapter 2, and so on. Even if you don't do reactions for them all, you should just listen.

Yes they are Three sisters. This is a the Prelude song from their concept album "Queen of the Murder Scene". It is about a girl who has a crush on a guy, that turns to obsession then stalking and kills her love. Then goes into psychosis then the grim reaper hunts her then she commits suicide.
Paulina the drummer sings lead on this one, but the Guitar player Daniela sings most leads. Ale the Bass player is the YOUNGEST EVER factory sponsored Spector Bass Artist. All are classically trained on Piano and are incredible musicians and performers. From one old metal head to you guys... check them out much more! The more you hear, the more you will like them... You've been WARNED!
BTW, the guy that came out was their manager. He was playing a priest telling the audience something to the effect of "The must pay to get into heaven, it is not free... " in Spanish.
Oh, and you will NEVER get Paulina from behind the kit, unless she is doing one of her ballads at the piano. LOL. They will never have another person in the band, but have said they may welcome a guest guitarist on live shows to do some rhythm guitar.

This is an old video but I would say that whatever song you play from The Warning I think viewers won’t complain, because as I’ve seen all of their songs are good. it’s hard to find a song you won’t like from the Chicas.
