Ivan with Angelina is MAGIC....simple pure magic....you can tell how comfortable she is with him, knowing he will be spot on with her flawlessly. All of the tunes with Ivan are awesome "stay" and "always on my mind" are two of my favorites among MANY. lol

haunting timeless voice. a pop classic, completely reinterpreted and flawlessly sung with that haunting timeless voice by a little girl wearing a donald duck sweatshirt. unbelievable. Angelina is in a league of her own. sure, lots of singers can belt, can do this and that, but I doubt many is musically talent and courageous enough to do what she does. Out of this world.

Great reaction, fully enjoyed it ! Angelina's version makes you very teary eyed......when she sings this song, you really feel left behind in the cold, dark world, dreaming about the West Coast. Maybe this cover is underrated compared to her other ones, I start to think that it is maybe her best - in a sense that it transports the mood perfectly.

I LOVE ANGELINA AND GRACE BUT I ALSO LOVE ANGELICA HALE, I am 67 and have heard MANY singers in my life that are and were great and in this current era of music it was nice to find the young new talents that don’t use autotune and that write there own songs as these three do. Thank you for reacting to the true new voices of real music.

as you know, Ivan Mendez was Angelina's guitarist in LA in 2018. In an interview with Alan Papier on his CZcams channel, Ivan told the story of how the cover came about. In a nutshell "Angelina doesn't have a wish list of songs, she decides spontaneously if she likes a song. After hearing this song she says great song and has downloaded the lyrics. Then Ivan played the melody and Angelina says" good but slower, slower , even slower. OK, well, let's start ". Then the cover was recorded in one take, Angelina sang the song here for the first time after her arrangement without rehearsing beforehand. 💯 *AJ* 💯

That's probably my favorite reaction from you to an Angelina performance. What she has done with this classic pop song is beyond amazing: slowed it down, changed a few notes, sang it acoustic, and gave it a bluesie, jazz vibe. Bam---a MASTERPIECE! She is taking an old classic song, which I love, & totally re-arranging/re-interpreting it into a new masterpiece that is stunning. The original is one of my all time favorites, this one takes it even one step further.
It's not even about perfect execution (yes she has that too).
The mood and intensitivity she's creating here is unbelievable gorgous.
I can't even put words to it how much I love it. She has every reason to rejoice at the end.

The first time I heard this, I never wanted it to end. But it did, and I played it on repeat for 4 consecutive hours. It is in my top 3 from Angelina. That says it all for me. Thanks for your fantastic reaction, there aren't many 11/12-year-old girls who can take a classic song more than 55 years ago, and that was basically a ballad, turning it into a slow and melancholic song that catches you heart filling it with emotions, the musical intelligence with which she re-elaborates, in a unique way, the old songs is amazing and her ability to take advantage of just the accompaniment of the simple guitar sound in background is incredible, I think that only for Angelina is it possible to do it so easily. 😊

One of Angelina's finest! But then I can say that about everything she does. It's just one I have on repeat all the time. I absolutely love this soft, dreamy aspect of her voice, and it's obvious you do too. One thing I don't think you've experienced quite yet on your AJ journey is her POWER. She has her own CZcams channel (2.2 MILLION subscribers) with 280 videos. She has appeared on America's Got Talent (twice), when she was only 9 years old. Today, she is 12 and several months ago she put out a cover of "Cold Stone" by Demi Lavato. After you do a reaction of that song, I will give you the back story of this amazing talent. She's a bit different than Angelina Jordan (mostly jazz style), but just as good in her own genre.
