WPB has my, my family's and my extended family's vote in Stafford, Staffordshire. In this town the sitting Conservative MP enjoys a significant lead and it will take mass mobilisation to overturn this. However, I am not seeing any political activity in the town from any party, which feels a bit strange to me. Perhaps everyone sees it as a firm Tory area and investing their energies elsewhere. In my view this is precisely why things need to change here, but I can't see it happening.

I am genuinely asking this, not as an attack or troll. If someone is a workers party member, perhaps they could answer. I would typically be left-leaning libertarian, sees labour is captured, but has some fears regarding socialism, namely that it can become corrupted and authoritarian, and perhaps economically inefficient. What sort of counter-argument could you put to those concerns? One of the main appeals of the Workers Party (and Independents) is its position on Palestine, and that alone will probably win a lot of votes, but socialism is a scary word for a lot of people.

There was no working class in medieval times. The working class is a product of capitalism following the industrial revolution. The working class are dependent on a wage, whereas the capitalist class own the factories, big businesses, land and investments from which they exploit the workers. This system is reinforced by the education system, media and culture. You cannot wish the class system away.
Because it clearly still exists despite the thousand years that have passed since. It's not bias, it's obvious to anyone who lives here how entrenched it is and who its beneficiaries are
