Japan's lift hills are terribly slow lol...
The Sexy Blond Guy Is Awesome yes american dream boy, all rollercoasters in japan have very slow lifthills, this is because japan is a very poor country... i think the best coasters are from america: "The great american relovution" designed and built in germany... very emberrasing^^... sry i dont know if you are american, but a comment like: japans lifthills are slow by seeing one japanese coaster, can just be american XD... and you like a blonde skater boy from the 80s, the girls in europe would lough about you^^

I feel like this is one of the really elegant rides, not only because of the urban environment and the pink structure, but also the smooth curves of the ride and the loop it goes through in the end.

That's such a slow climb...
i think its because when it starts the climb only a small portion of the ride is actually on the chain, thats why it gets faster near the top.

Trust me, Japan has MUCH better coasters if you know where to look (e.g. Kawasemi, Dodonpa, Flying Dinosaur).

That is a very slow chain lift.
the drop towards the tunnel was the best part of all. enjoyed the ride for only 700yen! definitely worth trying if you're in yokohama

Definitely more impressive from the perspective of a bystander watching the coaster plunge into the water than from the perspective of the rider where it just looks like you are going into a tunnel, not plunging into the water.

I love the sounds as well, but I actually really appreciate his commentary, both because I think he's funny, and because he's not only sharing the coasters with us, the viewers, but also participating in the experience himself!

The lift hills are slow, but it helps to build up the suspense of when you’re gonna fall, how fast you go, etc.

Seems pretty cool, but it does kinda leave you wanting more. But the whole diving under the pool concept is killer. With a long train like that, it would have been cool if there were a few more hills and bunny hops for air-time. Granted it does seem that space is an issue at this park as the rides seem to be almost built on top of each other.

I remember when Magnum was the new, super fast, exciting coaster. It's funny to think of that lift hill as "slow" now. We used to stand in line for two hours to ride that thing. :)

Is everyone on that ride just yelling 'woah'? Sounds likes a bunch of groaning zombies. The water thing is the only semi-cool thing about the ride, how disappointing.
Back in 2005, I was visitng a high school buddy of mine who had moved back to Japan. He and I took a ride on this. It was rather tame, but it was something to do while in Yokohama for the afternoon.
