  • Stridewise article on Anson belts: stridewise.com/anson-belt-rev...
    In this video I had the honor and privilege to review Anson Belts, specifically the "cordovan" formal strap, the "woven" invincibelt strap, and the casual "saddle tan" vegetable tanned strap, the classic silver buckle, the traditional gunmetal buckle, and the traditional rose gold buckle. In the video I compare Anson belts to other belts in my collection.

    I've got a box set of Anson belts too, after using Mission Belts for several years. I definitely prefer Anson and really appreciate the quality they provide. Good review Dale. 👍

    Solid review! The products that can balance price, quality and style so well deserve to be shouted about from roof tops! You brought up some good points and angles I haven't thought of. Keep up the good work.

      Thanks brother, and an extra special huge THANKS to you for your input regarding the concealed carry angle. You really gave a thorough and in-depth explanation for how well these belts work with the holsters!!! Without that I would have had no clue how to explain that part!!!!

    I personally love the ratchet mechanism so much, I doubt I'll ever go back to traditional "hole" belts. With traditional belts, the fit is never quite right. With a ratchet belt, the fit is exactly right every time.

    Since when, does a man have to open his belt to do a number one?
    Recently purchased the inch and a quarter for formal wear and can see why the wider belt is better for regular wear. I am a fan of military belts(web) and find the Anson system a great application for the more formal leather style.

    I noticed that you didn't mention or have a closeup of the last buckle at your 31:20 buckle review. Is that the traditional gunmetal one?
    Thanks!

    what leather belt can handle wet weather and can be constantly cleaned by saddle soap due to covid times?

    • @DalesLeatherworks
      @DalesLeatherworks  Před 3 lety

      any belts in this video can stand up to all of the above!! the Anson invincibelt is basically waterproof though, whereas standard leather can handle water just fine, but if you're going to be really submerging it, like in a scuba-diving scenario, I'd probably go with the Anson invincibelt :)
