I know that burger van, that van is famous in Gloucester! Onions and ketchup was Daveys famous saying. It was always parked in the Taxi rank near Gloucester bus depot, in actual fact he was parking there in that same spot for about 30 years at least. Before he had the VW Caddy he had a Austin Maestro burger van...

That's absolutely class. Love it. Do it back out to it's former glory but with new equipment. Be worth a pretty penny I bet for VW shows ect
Wow, I like it! Either re-do it as a food van or change it to a merch van or camper. Could replace the old 1.6D engine with a 1.9 TDI.
Keep it as a burger van and call it "Last Chance Cafe" (if you know stirchley there was one there.)
Or convert it to sell merch stickers number plates etc at shows.
Bloody good food there, every sat for me.

Stu that’s ripe for a micro camper build for your little travels around the country,could even fit bunk beds in for you and chancy haha. If you fancy a collaboration on getting it back on the road and motd that’s what I do,weld up and mot old motors. I’ll fire you an email buddy 😉

This is exactly why we love your channel Stokze, it's been sorned since Sep 2016 ok it's a bit frilly round the edges but tarted up it could be worth a lot to the right person the Vdub brigade might be a good place to start once you've worked your magic on it and got it MOT'd, spare parts shouldn't be a problem but l wouldn't spend too much money on it, those wheels might be worth selling too, Caddy wheels are cheap and easily sourced.

I would say keep it as a unique burger van or snack van would be great for it to be used at shows it could even return to Gloucestershire when they have their classic car shows might being back lots of memories for the people who used it and remember it 👍

I would convert it into camper van myself and you will have bits for water and cooking stuff and sell merch at car shows and other stuff you build to sell ......a bit like shed and buried guys

I live in Gloucester and I have not ever seen it. Nice photo on Flickr. Its will be great show vehicle and worth a lot in my opinion so you got lucky this time.
Mint camper conversion or turn it back into the pick up. Depends what's going too bring the best videos and revenue.

Well I saw this last week and was looking forward to seeing you buy it. Very rare motor. Thiers a VW caddy pickup I see regularly that is used daily, which is great. But this is another thing altogether, big ass yellow thing, don't expect it to be nippy with that non turbo diesel, but if Dave made a go of it, then I'm sure you can Stu although I can't see either of you flipping burgers!
Yes it needs some work, not been on road for years, but it probably needs less than it looks. Throw it through an MOT, see what's what. The yellow spray reminds me of my old Kawasaki, although same colour, it was done professionally with a Union Jack across the entire Motorbike.
I'm sure once you've got it road legal, the ideas will flood in and we will see something even more crazy on here!

Take the camper top away and restore it to a mk1 caddy pickup. Possible golf vr6 swap.
It would make a good camper but kept as a burger van you could do all the VW meets and make money while there.
Even not selling food you can sell other things out of it as it is a shop on wheels.

That VW is clean is I would turn it back to a pick up or turn it in to a small camper van but it won't be cheap to buy as anything VW and retro is strong money like fords shame it's been sat in he's garden for years would of got some funny looks driving it around and you pair got it or just you stu? As chancy got enough projects sitting around and you have the BMW and this as well or sell it make a profit and spend the money on the bmw but your choice mate
