- In this video I will review a Joola blade, Zhou Qihao Hyper ARY-c 90. This is a powerful blade of the Chinese National team’s Zhou Qihao. This blade’s hyper ARY-c fiber is aligned vertically, providing an unprecedented catapult effect and crystal clear feedback. I'll take some measurements with certain tools to give you as much concrete information as possible about the blade, but I'll also glue different rubbers on it that I've played with before on other blades and try to explain how it feels in the game.

thanks you again for every detail you mention. very usefull. and your comparison with viscaria is usefull a lot . because viscaria is a benchmark :)
Thank you for your contribution. I've been playing the Joola Zhou Qihao 90 with 85 and 87 grams since the beginning of the year. I use rubber on both sides of the Tibhar K2 Pro and am more than satisfied. The blade is fast, but very controlled.
Thx. More and more players tell me that they are satisfied with this blade.
Odličan video. Dario hvala za objašnjenje pojma sweet spot👍
nema na čemu ;)
i didn't see that you mention about handle ? backhand forehand transition ?
very nice and detailed review thanks for your efforts
thnx
Fantastic review vid. Bravo.
Thnx 🙂
Hello Dario. I found the right rubbers for Joola ZQH 90 for me. I have T05 black on bh and Joola dynaryz acc red on fh. I can easily grab the ball on my backhand. Same with fh but acc is a little more crispy. Lots of feedback from the blade. I was using Joola hybrid with T80 both sides before. I also used Trinity with T05 hard both sides. Trinity can produce lots of spin but my setup is too heavy. The hybrid with t80 needs a lot of wrist and swing speed. Joola ZQH 90 with is just so easy to use and the set up is light at 184gms.
thanks for sharing your experience. I'm glad you liked the blade
awesome video, thanks for making this.
Glad you liked it!
Hello nice review. Do you know the Joola vyzaryz freeze HRD ? Maybe you can compare these two blades ? Thanks a lot
Hi. This is my first Joola blade that I have tested. I've tried a few other Joola blades, but never with the rubbers I wanted and for a very short time so it's hard to give a precise opinion. Given that I was very pleasantly surprised by this blade, I might decide to buy some other Joola blades.
Hello Dario! Could you compare Joola Zhou Qihao Hyper ARY-c 90 with Fan ALC? Is Jolla more faster and harder? Fan ALC has more dwell time? Perhaps any differences between them?
Hi. During the video, I compared the ZQH 90 with the Viscaria and the FZD ALC on several occasions. I may have mentioned the Viscaria more times than the FZD ALC, but basically everything I mentioned about the Viscaria also applies to the FZD ALC when compared to the ZQH 90.
This Joola is more fun to play than my zjk alc blade. Zjk ALC holds the ball a tad bit more but zqh has an amazing sweet spot and feel for its speed. Very fun to hit with!
very nice review, thanks!
a quick question: compared with FZD ALC, is this blademore head-heavy?
Thnx. Yes, a bit more head-heavy than FZD ALC
@@DarioGrd I've had the Zhou Qihao 90 since the beginning of the year. I don't find the wood to be top-heavy at 85 grams and concave. On the other hand, the straight handle is top-heavy.
@@marvinrosenthal Yes, but compared to FZD ALC is more head heavy.
Hello, I have a question. Im using 729 battle II commercial at the moment, and Im wondering if its worth it to upgrade to the blue sponge version, assuming that the differences between orange and blue are the same as in the hurricane series. What do you think? Will I loose control in the short game or in pushes with this upgrade? Many thanks in advance.
Hi. I had planned to, but unfortunately I still haven't tried Battle II in any version, so I wouldn't want to comment on something I haven't personally tried.
@@DarioGrd I see, but from what I read, the difference between blue sponge and orange sponge is the same as in hurricane series, so you can treat my question as "how will changing to h3 blue sponge affect my game?".
@@Brozi In my opinion, moving from the H3 orange sponge to the H3 blue sponge is an improvement. The blue sponge gives more spin, is faster and is generally easier to play with. It is possible that this is all because the blue sponge absorbs the booster better and more aggressively. In any case, I would always choose the blue sponge over the orange one for myself.
@@DarioGrd wouldnt I lose some control in the short game?
@@Brozi yes, it is always like that. If the base speed of the rubber is increased, the control in the short game is reduced.
Hi Dario, how would this blade compare with Viscaria Super ALC and which would you recommend?
Hi. I haven't had the Viscaria Super ALC in an extensive test to be able to say specifically, but I tried it briefly and I think the Joola ZQH 90 is a better blade. They are very similar, but the ZQH is slightly better in almost everything, and the most important thing is the feeling I have with the ZQH, which I don't have with the Viscaria Super ALC.
Hi Dario! Many thanks for this interesting video! Which rubber did you like most paired with this blade?
Thnx.
The ones I'm currently using on it, which is on the FH DHS H3 Neo BS 40 deg, and on the BH Victacs V 22. As I mentioned in the video, I think a fast rubber with short pips would be great on this blade, but I will try something like that at the end of December.
Many thanks! actually, I tried Spinlord Degu on it and it felt very good! It is superfast (even with Degu, which is the slowest of Spinlord pips).
@@arashspirit I bought Der Materialspezialist Spinfire, but I didn't want to try it now between league games. I'm really interested in what it will be like.
Thank you for this information about Degu.
@@DarioGrdDid you tested it with Spinfire ?
I play with shortpips forehand (currently with Spinfire) and antispin backhand and I ordered the blade yesterday !
I'm really curious what the results will be 😊
I need a stiff blade for shortpips to smash everything and a hard and stiff blade for antispin to make maximum spin reversal and from what I've seen, this blade looks stiff and hard !
@@KinokoFuuko yes, this blade is stiff and hard and I expect it to be great when paired with short pips.
I haven't been able to try it yet, but in 2 weeks I plan to put the Spinfire on and do a detailed review.
Hi Dario! What do you think about Rakza 7 as Backhand rubber for this blade? Not too soft? May I try it?
Of course. Why not?
If this type of rubber suits you, there will be no problem with blade and their combination. Just keep in mind that it will be a pretty fast combo.
@@DarioGrd I like Hurricane 8-80 on FH, but I am still looking BH rubber with suits me. I think, I'll try Rakza 7 and something from the soft hybrids like Tibhar Hybrid MK, Stiga Hybrid M or something else...
Thank you for your videos!!! They are very usefull.
@@andreikrupets7940 You're welcome. I'm glad if I can help and I hope you find what suits you.
Brother which is better in all aspects viscaria or zqh hyper 90 and i am planning to buy one of these i need a less stiff blade and more feeling
For many years I played with Viscaria, then with FZD ALC which is actually just a slightly improved copy of Viscaria, but since I tried ZQH 90 I find that blade better than both. It's better for me, and I explained why in the video. This does not mean that ZQH 90 will be better for you.
If you need a less stiff blade, then none of these three mentioned are a good choice.
hello brother i am using viscaria since a long time is it worth shifting to zqh 90 i like viscaria feel power dwell is zqh 90 better than it
Hi. For me, ZQH 90 is better than Viscaria, but that doesn't mean it will be better for you.
In the video I mentioned the differences between ZQH 90, Viscaria and FZD ALC.
Hello brother which blade is more stiff and hard zqh or viscaria and which has more feel
hi. ZQH 90 is stiffer
Hi brotha What app do you use for that sound vibration?
hi. android app Advanced Spectrum Analyzer PRO
Hi!
Great video. I play SP on BH. I realy like Yasaka Rakza PO on BH. Can you recomend some FH rubbers?
Thnx. Did you mean SP FH rubbers or regular inverted rubbers that you will pair with Rakza PO on BH?
@@DarioGrd Iverted rubber on FH
It's hard to say without knowing a bit about your playstyle and the level you're at. There are many different types of inverted rubbers: hard Chinese rubbers, hybrid rubbers, tensor rubbers... I don't know which one you prefer more.
There are a lot of reviews of different rubbers on my channel. Where I explain which rubber is good for whom. Also, on all my reviews, you have a table of ratings from 1 to 10 for different segments of the game, so you can determine which would suit you best based on those ratings.
@@DarioGrd I play with Timo Boll ALC with D05 on my FH.
I play with D05 on at TB ALC blade now. How do you think this blade will pair up with D05?
Hi Dario, are you planning to do some Nittaku stuff in the future? Like the neverending discussion acoustic vs violin or maybe the whole fastarc series? There aint that many “good” reviewers like you that talk about Nittaku unfortunately
Hi. I can't make any promises. I was thinking about reviewing the entire fastarc series, but I've given up for now. I also considered some blade classics from Nittaku and Stiga, but also ended up with the newer equipment.
Hope you will change your mind in the future ;). Continue watching your videos though great stuff!
@@Shylfaen thank you for the support. There is a high probability that sometime in the future I will review some blade or rubber from Nittaku, but now I don't know what it will be. The only thing that is certain is that you can expect a review of Nittaku glue soon ;)
I just ordered this blade. 😊
nice. I hope you will be satisfied with the blade and that it will suit you
Hello brother i am a touch player and want more feeling in my stroke and spin in my shots with speed for long term which blade should i choose joola hyper 90 or 45 one
Keep going love from India❤️
Hi. ZQH-90 is quite a fast and stiff blade, so it is not ideal for touch play, but it is possible to play it with a lot of feeling. I don't know what blade you are currently playing with, but for the ZQH-90 speed and spin are certainly not a problem, the only problem you might have is control and feel. I haven't played with the ZQH-45, but as I said in the video, that blade has a limba that is softer than the koto veneer found on the ZQH-90, so it may have more feel.
I am Bit Confuse whether I go With Trinity or Zhou qihao?
Ye Trinity or zqh for forehand oriented player?
Both are very good blades, but quite different, so you have to decide for yourself. Trinity has a softer final veneer (limba) and a different type of carbon.
brother can you please try joola zqh 45 one
maybe sometime in the future
What rubbers are on your blade?
FH - DHS Hurricane 3 Neo National blue sponge 40 deg
BH - Victas V > 22 double extra
Hi Dario, how much does such racket weight?
@@andreikrupets7940 it is quite heavy due to multiple layers of glue and booster on the H3. Exactly 192 grams
@@DarioGrd Thanks for your answer. Yea, for me it's little bit heavy. I want to get no more 185 g. I think I need too find light blade around 80-83 gramms and light rubber for backhand.
@@andreikrupets7940 No problem. This blade can be also found with a lighter weight. I know some are even 85g, but they probably won't have the same characteristics as this 90g one.
