They are hardly in a position to TELL prospective visitors anything. No one wants to come to Hawaii at this point.
Insulting your prospective tourists with garbage like this shows how the authorities there are the main problem . THEY block the exits, turn off the water, keep the sirens quiet in a firestorm and now the disrespectful tourists are what needs attention? How about they look in the mirror for once?

@@Sharyk808 what charities that collected money helps individuals with rebuilding homes? Lots of grifting like The Oprah fund that supposedly pays its staff upwards of half a million per year each while not providing enough for rent let alone rebuilding a home.
So sad when people without homes could use the money to rebuild.

Do yourself a favor and just don't go to Maui. I'm American and will happily never return. Spend your hard earned money in a place that actually wants you there, go to the beaches in Thailand or Malaysia. The countries are amazing! Prices are much cheaper and the locals are actually happy you are there. Just skip Hawaii honestly and choose Thailand.
Or. Travel right and travel White! Spend your dollars on YOUR people! you best believe that's what every other race is doing, never heard of remittance? Even California still has White people who aren't corrupt and just want to build a better, safer society for White children to grow up in :D. California beaches are amazing, Portland has great restaurants, Seattle has museums and vibes, Florida is the only place with the Everglades. We also have the bahamas to hop around in as our personal playground. But again. Give serious thought into your race and how things like tourism and community can better them.

that land is American, and they are salty cause they will always be second tier to the landclaim. they can have their little reservation like Indians. But that land is American soil first and Hawaiin nation second.
I dunno… the message I got from from the locals was just not to come. They tell you to be respectful but don’t say how that should be different than any other day. “Don’t go where you see locals” um, what? I’ll just stay away. Message received.

So cute, never learn from past mistakes. Oh I got an idea let's continue doing the same things to make income & growth for Hawaii's economy. Hawaii can become so much more than tourist attractions but some people in power wants Hawaii to be weak.

Farm land is being sold for housing. I would have kept the pineapple, sugar cane industry and grow our own crops. More houses will be built Mauka😢 We are losing the beauty of our home.😢Our old school.🤙🏼
@@Sharyk808 Sugar production nowadays wouldn't be able to sustain growth. Also land being snatched up by the wealthy that has no intention of giving back is ridiculous to me because we were raised to Malama da Aina. Growth doesn't have to be indicted by money gains, growth can also mean better living standards.
One problem is that Hawaii residents are being taxed for the mistakes & corruption of our current & past representatives. Plus we have a monorail project that is still incomplete & they changed the plans to shorten it because the cost is off the charts. I rather of had another super ferry but a private-public partnership with the state.
Hawaii should decentralise ideas from the mainland & innovate our state with our culture & environment that surrounds us because we are different from the mainland.
