- The Santa Fe is totally redesigned and Hyundai has an off-road trim. On the outside you will find an all new color, 18in wheels and off-road tires. On the inside you will be greeted by a 12.3in infotainment system, 12.3in digital gauge cluster and new materials. Under the hood is a 2.5L turbocharged inline-4 mated to an 8-speed DCT transmission. Totally agree it is not an offroad SUV but I will say its a good (bang for the buck) SUV that is good sized with lots of interior room and looks nice for its price. Not many 3 row SUV's for around $45k out there. Thankyou Joe and Steven, great job on the review as always !

I have the same engine and transmission in my 3 year old Hyundai. It shifts extremely smoothly. I haven’t had an issue yet but I am going to add an extended warranty.
I appreciate this channel doing many different trims and not the default "top of the line" trim most of us can't afford!!

Nope, can’t get past that back end. Zonk to me. Me too Joe, 80’s on all the time. You said the same thing about the lighter headliner in the Pathfinder that I drive. It’s much better than black! It keeps it lighter and more open feeling. 😂

Hey, Joe i Don't know a lot this particular brand, however i LOVE THE COLOR, MY FRIEND.😊😊😊.
Turn signals so low is really annoying. Not only are they harder to see, it's easy to block them as soon as you want to carry anything behind the vehicle like a bike rack.
The turn signal is actually in the H lights in the back. It's splits when the hatch is open for regulations.
I really want to like this car but I cannot get over the hideous back end.
If you buy the vehicle you almost never see the backend unless your loading stuff in it.
I am not a fan of the missing rear bumper, your rear lift gate IS the bumper :(
The hideous back, I think, is not bad. It kinda looks like the back of a range rover.

I like the front end of the new Santa Fe , but don't like the rear , the tail lights are way to low , especially the turn signals. Also the rear lights look like dog bones when the brakes are applied. I know there suppose to look like the letter "H" like the front lights , but there lower and wider whick make them look more like a dogs bone.

The signal below, I'm not a fan either. I believe it's a safety issue. Especially when driving on foggy days or during a dust storm, in my opinion, the driver behind you won't be able to see your lights, especially while breaking.

I’m sorry Joe but the entire vehicle is a total zonk. Box vehicles looks super ugly these days and the tail lamps in the back is so hideous that it reminds me of the geo metro hatchback from the 90s. Hyundai really messed it up for sure.
The cutouts in the C pillars are grab handles, not attachments for boxes/accessories.
That paint color is really wasted on such an ugly vehicle, imo.
Without front facing camera you can't see the offroad angles. Should not call this "off road " if you take it away with this model. Makes no sense. And no scid plates? Maybe call it lightly dirt road suv

That is an abomination to the world of vehicular design. I saw one in the metal today. I was repulsed by its design. Its an overpriced box with wheels. This is as bad as the "Homer" from the Simpson's. As powerful as a gorilla? Nope. As graceful as ballerina? Nay. What the H E double hockey sticks is Hyundai doing? The Elantra looks like an origami in metal. I'll take a gorgeous Mazda CX 70 please!

2024 Hyundai Santa Fe XRT HTRAC AWD 3-Row!
It is a sharp looking SUV many will buy just because it will make easy work of the deep puddles in the parking lot with poor drainage at the super market. Online grocery shoppers who order 500 dollars of stuff from Walmart then sit in their car while the stupid kid loads all their garbage up in a torrential downpour. Hyundai and Kia are like a box of chocolates. You never know what you are going to get. Thats all I have to say about that.
Unfortunately Hyundai gives me an uneasy feeling about purchasing. Had a couple over past years and it just gives me a "not quite good enough feeling"
