Scoop has gotten ridiculously clever with his writing. Much improved.
Scoop is just too cold with his poetic way with words. 30 seconds in when I heard that restraining order bar I had to pause the video and call a friend
Frankie stumbled towards the end of his 1st, and scoops 1st was incredible and full of momentum and hit hard, 1st round scoop. Comfortably for me.
2nd round, frankie started strong, stumbled mid round a little bit again but brought it back much better. Orphan in authenticity was hard AF, so was that deaf sentence/ sign language line.
Scoops second was fire also, the eye drops line, restraining order bar, blue can trail. Pressed for time. I've got to say scoop was outstanding in round 2 and I think it was best round of the entire battle. 2-0 scoop.
Frankie fired on all cylinders in the 3rd round, great closing round, finished on his strongest round, in-cell weapon was CRAZY.
Scoops third was solid, that bafta award line hit hard, and I think his third just cemented one of the best performances in UK battle rap in years, scoop was incredibly. I think this battle was amazing from both sides but gotta say scoop won this in my opinion with his consistency whilst performing at such a high level

Now this is the perfect start to the year. Both smashed it. I love Frankies reaction to the bars. He just loves the lyrics even if on other end to it.

For me this battle was the clear battle of the year 2022 winner.
I'm not going to break it down round by round but I'll say I think Scoop took this.
The writing from both men would see them comfortably beat 95% of the UK battle rap scene.
Really hope both men battle regularly in 2023 because they have the potential to carry the UK scene going forward.
Scoop is one if my all time faves and even from the first few lines he dropped in round 1 it was clear this was going to be a crazily high standard battle.

I had to come back and watch to make sure which round in this battle was round of the year. I couldn't remember which round, but I knew it had to be from this battle considering how I felt when I first watched it. I'll say Frankie's 3rd is the best round of the year in UKBR in 2022. This battle is a classic. Frankie only took it for me, as despite Scoop having insane wordplay, Frankie can do the same and adds a much harder level of complexity to it with the amount of syllables he uses. And in a battle so tight, that has become the thing that seperates these two monsters for me. Insane battle...can't wait to see both in the season next year

This was an amazing battle. I am in Virginia in the states and I think school I have one of the most amazing to the point two rounds of any battler out there.
Just watch the 1st. I've seen SCOOP b4 but I dont remember him having THAT PRESENCE. Maybe it's his progression or the small room but he came off so poised and his clever bars hit harder cus his delivery was Flawless with it.

This was a sick battle, I think Scoop is fire. He's a really good effective puncher and I like his flow. Frankie is also sick with angles and a really good writer. If I was to judge it I'd say Scoop took the win slightly but Frankie wasn't too far behind. Great stuff premier battles
